Best basic shock suggestion?

I need to put new shocks on my truck they are the original shocks. What would be the best basic shock to put on?

I waited 12 years (and a few sets of "stock" shocks) to install these on my 1st Gen and I was kicking myself for not doing it earlier.
Now with my 3rd Gen I sprang for ADS.

The 5100s are still a GREAT option for our trucks though. I'd say they give you about 50% of the performance of Fox/King/ADS, but at 10% - 20% of the price!!

 

I just added the Bilstein 5100's I went with middle setting and added a coachbuilder shim for a 2inch lift in the front also added a 1" block in the rear. I wanted to give give it the same front height as the TRD Pro has. I'm glad I only choose the middle setting I think the full would have been too much. You can also set them at stock height if you do not want any lift.
