It's going to be a while before I put em on, still need to save up for wheels, tires, UCA's and a few other bits.
And since I was taking pictures......

Well I doubled my gas mileage this weekend! I did the boughtacheapolderHondaforacommutercar mod! It set my build back a bit but saving some wear and tear and gas mileage especially when I put 35's it will be wort it.

None in the last 6 years my buddy had it. But it sure will here pretty soon! It's gonna play double duty as acommuter car and as an autoX/track whore. The car mostly sat as he only drove it whenever his wrx was down.

I dunno, I'll have to ask him. I named it Cone_Shark. Plan is to paint it OD Green and put a shark mouth on the side like an old ww2 fighter.

You will have to put the exhaust right out the side of the engine bay to replicate it better.

I realized after I installed my tail lights I forgot to take my 3rd brake light off and paint it! So I took care of it today.

Dipped my hood today! It's a bit grainy so I'll wet sand it some time this week. Hope it smooths out because I really like the look. I think the red pinstripe sets it off.

    Masked off.

A couple coats in. Notice I did not got to the ends? That's so I could put a heavy coat on there last so it won't peel off with the tape.

Vinyl pinstripe I got from a local paint store. It was left over from when I painted my wheels black on my old STi.

Nice. I would suggest going over the black with a glossifier. It doesn't make it too glossy looking but does seem to blend the black together.

Parts are stacking up! Wheelers super bumps, and 3 leaf add-a-leaf, coachbuilders. +2 shackles, leaf spring bushings and carrier bearing drop. Also got a diff drop kit too. I have DirtyDeeds UCA's on order too, should get those in a few weeks. Wheels will be ordered this week then I'll be saving up for tires.

What will that add a leaf give in lift? I bought a set of +3 shackles from him and my original plan was to do the ultimate lift kit. But I'm thinking I'd like to do the zone 5 inch lift. So I was thinking I'd do an add a leaf with the shackles instead of the blocks. The +3s are good for 1.5-1.75 so I need another 1.5. Icon expansion pack??? Sorry for the questions in your thread, but hope you could help. You got beer, yotas and nuts painting that hood and lights! Looks great!
