I've got a buddy from Nawlins and he sent me some Abita. They do some solid stuff, not the best but I've had alot worse.

Hit for the cycle last night.
    From L-R:
    1. Classic west coast style IPA. Great balance of Citrusy piney.
    2. Very light. Not crisp but refreshing I suppose. Kind of sweet (too much for me).
    3. More of an American IPA style and color but with citra hops to give it a more distinct flavor (most aIPA's are bland to me).
    4. It's a pilsner.
    5. I'm a sucker for doubles. This is the only one I'd had before (but in bottles). I think the can makes it hit the nose and tongue a little harder (likely why heady topper says "drink from the can"). Obviously my favorite of the bunch.

    Happy Easter everyone.

You should try Stone if you're into some hoppy IPA's.

Well, I tried to describe both beers, but didn't upload it. 1st beer was a lite sour beer (gose) good summer beer. 2nd is a amber, 6% very good, but not a all day beer if you catch my drift. Artwork is awesome though :p

Very mellow for an imperial with 9% abv. No real discernible hop nose or palate.
Not bad but just tastes like everything else from N.B.

Belgian ale (Belgians are evil) 10%. Refreshing and fruity. Great nose as described in the bottle. Good as a desert beer. Wife's that don't like the taste of beer would like this one. Not sure I can drink 2 glasses being sweet, but definitely an after meal beer.

Plenty planned thanks to all of you.
I like the progression and I'm sure that it made for a nice night as well as a slow start this AM.

I'll need to look for the Amputator. That looks interesting.

My cousin went to Raleigh this past weekend to the red hot chili peppers concert, he done me a solid and hooked me up with some sours from bottle revolution bottle shop. These are supposed to be really good. Reviews to follow. Edit:the Trickery is from Hardywood in RVA it's a stout aged in apple brandy barrels at 13.5%. I can't wait to crack that one open.

Smell of a hint of mango, with a taste of citrus fruit with a small after-taste, but not in a bad way!
Hops was more of a moderate taste.

    Thanks again, @Noodle! {He sends me the 32oz =) }

Odd flavor, so of course I had to try it as they make good beers- and grabbed an extra one for @Noodle

    Lightly haze orange pour
Small hint of aroma- not much, if any strawberry.
Taste of mint to go with it
