Beer B.S. and Review Thread

Super hoppy and piney without the thick syrupyness often found in these IPA's with heavy citrus notes.
I'm a fan.

 

At my neighbor's wedding, ya'll know him. My beer distributor. Hahaha. Anyway this was one of the beers.

Awesome taste.

A light citrus ale from Bend Oregon. We regularly bring this one camping and to the river with us. Definitely a go to.

Where @ in Scotland. I have been to Glasgow, Dunoon, Holy Loc Sub Base. Guric and Grenic. Don't think I spelled the last 2 right. I consumed a lot of Tenants. Salute

 

Space cake DIPA from clown shoes brewing in Mass. A citrusy west coast style IPA w mosaic hops. Almost no aroma which leads me to believe this bottle Is old. I've had it before and it seemed a lot better, still not bad.

 

One of the worst beers I've ever tried. 3 others tried this same beer and agreed. Thrown away 3/4 full and a waste of 8$

Soft serve from South street brewing in VA , a chocolate/ vanilla porter. Really damn good.

It's 9.05% you can get the chocolate and vanilla for sure. Good malt backbone and not too boozy. South street is out of Charlottesville and I think they release this only once a year. It's a big deal locally and for good reason. It's a solid beer for sure.

I was just looking at it and not sure how far you are from Williamsburg. There is a place there callled Hair of the Dog. They have South street and a ton of other good stuff. According to Trinkin they have a beer from Lickinghole Creek in Goochland VA called Kentucky French toast. I'm working in Williamsburg this week so I'll be picking some up for sure.
