Have you had the regular Dead Rise? If you like Old Bay, it’s awesome.

Edit: Upon further research, looks like this is Dead Rise’s new recipe. The original was a blonde ale, not a gose.

I saw this on here and thought it looked good. I found some yesterday and it is good. I assumed it was a CO beer, but damn if it ain't from Richmond VA.

Kindred Spirits makes some good beer. They are very underrated in the Richmond area craft beer scene

This was definitely like eating a thing of Flinstone vitamins. Tasted very similar to it, and if you really, really like those- this is for you.

Sweet and Sour Strawberry | Abv ?

Right out the can you can smell the tart strawberries it emits. Taste of sour fruit and easy to drink. I think a good pair to be included in this beer would have been marshmallow to mellow out the fruit some with a sweeter mix.

Yeah, the Veil and Hardywood get all the press down here. The only other Kindred Spirits I saw was an ipa, I'm not a fan of any of those.

I like both of them, but honestly think Hardywood is overrated. I’m a big fan of Strangeways if you can find their stuff down your way. And of course, Legend.

I forgot about Legend. I really like their brown ale, and it's easy to find here. So easy I kind of forget it's a craft brewery.
I'll keep an eye out for Strangeways.
We'll be in RVA tomorrow for our friends 36th annual Memorial Day party. Actually Henrico.

Strangeways has some interesting stuff, but very good. Their original location is actually in Henrico near the city if you can swing by there. Their Pumpkin Sour is one of my favorites. Enjoy your cookout!

Bought my brothers some Blindman Cascadian Dark Ale for their birthdays and they said it was really good. I neglected to get any for myself, though.

    Texas Sour Colas | 5.3%

This was a very sour beer, and I could only handle a few sips as I felt my stomach trying to fight it. I was hoping for more of that candy taste, but wasn’t getting it. I think I’m just about burnt on sours.

Smooth pours, but not picking up any of the wild berry pop tarts flavor :(
Seems to be an easy drinking sour as my stomach isn’t bugged by it

Pineapple Grenade from Young Veterans Brewing in VA beach. Lives up to its name. Really good and not a sour like most local fruit beers around here.

Road Worthy pilsner, Big Ugly in VA. Solid pilsner for warm weather sipping. And the can has the Hatteras light house on it for bonus points.
