This one was odd, but refreshing. Almost too sour for my stomach, but still good!

On a related note, he sent this to me as my daughter wanted the can lol.

Per the can, it pours a sunset orange with bold citrus and pine on both the palate and in aroma.

At first I thought it needed more hop flavour but then I decided that it's actually really good the way it is.

Dedicated to the aviation pioneer Wiley Post who landed his Lockheed Vega on the field that was once outside the brewery as part of his record-breaking, 8 day round the world trip in 1931.

This was a pretty good beer. Aromas of strawberry mixed with some vanilla. Goes down super easy and is pleasant.

Got some tasties from @DaBoro54 that I have been sampling over the last week.
Starting my backlog off with this gem:

Iron Hill Brewing | Wilmington, DE.
    Sweet Leaf | American IPA
    6.7% ABV 65 IBU

This was a pretty solid IPA. Great hop-forward flavor and a medium body. Poured to a golden amber color with very little head and was gone way too soon!

    Thanks @DaBoro54

    Nepenthe Brewing | Baltimore, MD.
Tiny Tyrant (Nelson Sauvin) | American Pale Ale
    4.8% ABV

    From the brewery:
I really enjoyed this one. An aggressively hopped pale ale? in. Reminded me of Mr. 40 Burgers from Martin House, but with more of a NEIPA twist to the flavor profile from the Nelson Sauvin. Very tasty!

    Thanks @DaBoro54

Big Oyster Brewing | Lewes, DE.
Hopalanche | American IPA With Peppermint and Vanilla
    7% ABV

I looked at this can, and mumbled: "Oh boy, this will be something". :anonymous:
I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised, and very much enjoyed this beer! At first it just tastes like a decent IPA, and you get a bit of sweetness from the vanilla to balance out all the hoppiness. Then, the aftertaste sneaks in a little (very little) bit of peppermint that is just right. I don't know how, or why, but this beer just works, and tastes fantastic!

Windlass of Erasmus | Sour Fruited Gose

So, the image on the can is a crude pen drawing of someone being tortured, and the beer poured pretty close to blood red. How fun!
Black currant and salt shine through, and the profile of the beer is just tart enough to almost be 'sour'. It's a very balanced flavor with just enough of all the right things. There aren't enough Gose style brews in the world, so I am always happy to taste any that I can!

Not much of a sour beer guy but this one was just right. Got to love the can too. I will be snagging any I see from that brewery when I get a chance.

Wait till you try the southern tier. One of my favorites

Morning Commute blond stout from Big Ugly. Infused with coffee from a local roaster. I had or, or maybe three, when we picked up our DIY NYE kit. Mostly coffee with a bit of stout. I could drink it on my morning drive to work, but would probably not have to make that drive a free a few days.

Conditioned on pineapple purée, orange purée, cream of coconut, nutmeg and vanilla. 5%.
Definitely taste the pineapple, orange and vanilla up front, and the nutmeg finishes things off... just a hint of coconut... but it is DELICIOUS!

This one is as close to a Orange sherbert as I’ve tried. Smooth, and not overly sour that overrides the other tastes
