Hop Venom Double IPA. Aromas of citrus, strong citrus flavor up front ( mostly orange, touch of grapefruit), bitter as a solid IPA should be. 9 % . This is one of my favorite breweries. I don’t think they make a beer I don’t like. AND as always, cool label art.

Makku unfiltered korean rice beer blueberry. Awesome brew light carbonation smooth tastes like sake minus the higher alcohol content.

I very much liked this one! A solid little brewery in the middle of the mountains pumping out some gems.

    From the brewery:

“Locals often comment that this beer is our greatest creation yet. Slightly nutty on the nose and palette, with an earthy hop aroma. Made with a variety of roasted and chocolate malts, the flavor is complex but the finish is clean and dry. A slow fermentation makes this one of the tastiest dark beers you'll ever find”

Literally a sour beer that tastes like Buffalo wing sauce. I feel insane for saying this, but I actually really liked it! I love wings, and I love beer, and it just worked. :notsure:

This hazy boi was absolutely delicious! NEIPAs are easily my favorite, and this brewery does well with them. Lots of haze, and lots of citrus notes from the hops. Very tasty indeed.

    99 Schilling:
A funny jab at 90 Schilling ale, a very very popular Colorado brew. This one is better, but not really my style.

    Hopgoblin IPA:
A solid IPA but nothing that made me say ‘wow’. Not incredibly hazy or bitter either.

    Stepchild Red:
Honestly a ‘meh’ red ale, which is a real bummer because I live red ales.

    El Duende Verde:
Green chili jalapeño ale, that was not spicy at all, and not nearly as good as the jalapeño beer in Arkansas at Superior Brewing.
All in all I wasn’t really thrilled with anything here but the food. Best French fries I’ve ever eaten!

Solid. Good hint of cherries and pretty sour for a barrel aged beer. Does not taste like 12.5, so till creep up on ya!

The nose hits you must like a little bit of Cinn with banana.
Creamy banana flavor with spices to top it off. Super easy to drink as it’s very smooth.

This one tastes great! Perfect blend of spices to level out the ale, but not over the top. Some cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little of maple syrup come to mind.

I know this thread is mostly related to craft beer, which I love. But I had a pony bottle of Miller High Life the other night and it was damn good. Sometimes you just gotta go back to the basics lol.

Any of the Colorado peeps, have you seen Oskar Blues Death by Coconut this year? I usually try to get a couple 4 or 6 packs around the holidays but can’t find it at the usual places in the Phoenix market.

First of all, a percentage of this crowler went to support the fight against breast cancer.

Black currant and ginger flavor this sour NEIPA. It’s stupid fruity, and an absolute flavor adventure. I’m a fan of this one, and wish it wasn’t a limited time only deal. The low ABV and fruit flavors make this entirely too easy to go down.

    Just an observation.
I was putting beers into my fridge yesterday and this caught my eye.

My usual beer now is Corona Light.
I noticed that the Corona Light bottles in my fridge have 3 different labels (including a Limited Edition) and 2 different caps.
    That's a bit odd...

Welcome to The Party, Pal | The Double IPA of Nakatomi Plaza
    8% ABV

A beer from my (obviously) favorite brewery based on the best Christmas movie of all time? And it’s a double IPA? Hell yes!
This was super flavorful and just bitter enough. Poured nice with no lacing and low head. Aromas of citrus fruit and hops. Flavor was intensely citrus with a lot of grapefruit and passion fruit flavor coming through IMO. Super tasty, 11/10!
