    “Four falls” | German Weizenbock | 7.5%

Light and crisp. Easy to go down.

Four Falls Weizenbock. Named after Four Falls Rapid near Bailey, Colorado, this beer is one of our brewer's favorites and a very flavorful beer. This amber German wheat beer combines the best characteristics of Hefeweizen and Bock beers.”

    Imperial Sixth Floor | Porter | 5.4%

Pours a deep brownish black from the cool ceramic swing top bottle with bubbly tan brown head that dissipates quickly to leave light lace. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt notes, a touch of sweet vanilla to coconut in the middle, Taste follows, a nice dark and milk chocolate note, with a touch of earthiness and light booze.

    Thanks @Larmand!

    Fur Slipper Imperial Milk Stout
A damn fine milk stout with lots of chocolate, sweet hazelnut and caramel/toffee notes. At the risk of offending @Larmand, I dare say I like this more than HF's Cocoa Añejo....
    20190712_200825.jpg

    From HF:
The biggest question we get is “seriously, how can this be 9 percent”? Silky smooth with notes of roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate and toffee; our Fur Slipper is a fusion of the traditional Milk Stout with the rich tones of a Russian Imperial. We use a mash tun busting combination of 8 grains with Magnum and East Kent Goldings hops to balance the additional milk sugars. The first time we brewed it, we sat in silence with our eyes closed just to breathe it all in. We do that a lot… don’t judge us.

Wont offend me, but let it be known that the coco anejo, essentially is fur slipper with coconut.

Coconut aside, there’s something different about this one in its flavor profile to me. I can’t quite place it.

I’ve had their beer, but not that one. Regardless, it’s for a great cause. Should be better than basement beer though :)

Oh Chit! I have to get some of that. Do they sell crowlers or growlers? My wife goes to DFW several times a year.

It depends if they have it on tap. I actually haven't been to Martin House, but if it's in the taproom, I'd imagine they can get you some to-go bottles

Yep. They only distribute to a few local places here, in CO as well. The TX Tundra Crew got a good taste of them =-)

No pretty pour picture because I'm drinking this bad boy while I work.

    Shannon Brewery | Keller, TX.
    Hazelnut Chocolate Stout
    5.8 ABV | 31 IBU

Very smooth and creamy, very light for a stout (5.8 abv ).
Loads of chocolate and hazelnut. Its like drinking a nutella beer.

I enjoy them too, but this one is not at the top of my list for me personally. I like milkshake IPA’s

PS- I still have your coconut beer
