I’m somewhat disappointed in the 3rd gen as well at this point. Some of that is related to issues, which I’m sure Toyota will get it together sooner than later. But some of it is related to the meager bump in payload, all the added complexity, and the stark contrast between what we get in North America vs the rest of the world. I mean this truck does NOT look like it is built by the same company that makes the 79 Series Land Cruiser AT ALL.

But there is no level of disappointment with Toyota that would make me buy a Ford, regardless of how feature-rich the Ford happens to be. I don’t trust them for half the miles I like to put on my vehicles. At this point, I don’t trust the 3rd gen Tundra either, but I’m mostly confident Toyota will work out the issues soon.

Definitely not my experience. This was a 3 month repair. At this point, me and the dealer have shared control of this vehicle about 50/50 since ownership. There's still a lot of things that don't work right, like the tow haul button and cruise control but I'm tired of giving this thing up for weeks at a time.

Good luck. I hope things work out for ya. I was at the point where it was either wait for the 2022 to come out or buy a 2021 Tundra. I decided to get the 2021. Glad I did. I love the my Tundra. I hope your truck will be good for you.
