Does anyone have experience with a bed cover that. Can be used with a toolbox? I have a regular low profile box on my truck but would like one of the covers for the trips when it is raining.

I have seen they are made but wondered if anyone had experience with them and how well they deal between the box.

So it looks like extang says they won’t work with a low profile box.

If your low profile tool box lid is lower than your front track rail there shouldn't be an issue. Had similar setup in my Taco.Tool box bolted to the bed. Plenty of clearance for a cover.

You may be able to fit a low profile box under the extang solid, but it will require removing the cover entirely to get to, since the front panel isnt meant to fold up or out of the way unless removed.
