My question relates to how these bed rack systems work with the Toyota bed rail system.
From what I can tell the standard Thule mounts are clamps that appear to not be deep enough to deal with the rail. Yak has additional hardware that appears to work with the bed rail. Then there is the Yak knock off advertised here:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K3WLJ58?smid=A160FQSYXXOUXC
Which clearly states it will not work with the rail system.
I am open to other brands as well. However I do not want the ones that have the large side panels that block your view.
The goal is to be able to carry (2) 14ft Ocean Kayaks while towing my teardrop trailer. The tear drop already has a solar panel and awning mounted top onto using a homemade system. It would be a bunch of work to mount them to the trailer.

I got this exact one and installed on my diamondback hd cover. Couldn’t be happier. Couldn’t stomach the thought of paying the Yakima / Thule prices. This Amazon one is just as good. Sturdy and well built. The ONLY complaint I had is the powder coat seems to be a little fragile on places.

Shawn with diamond back does the rack attach directly to the DB? I would prefer to utilize the bed tracks for installation is that possible with that rack?

I found the diamondback hd and the Yakima diamondback base track locally on Facebook marketplace at steep discounts.

So I have the rack installed via the base track on my diamondback cover. I would imagine if Yakima sells adapters / clamps to rail mount, it would on this rack as well. It seems to be a direct clone.
