Also looking for a bed rack to go over my softopper! Mobtown said it would take extensive fabrication and time and therefore money to make one of these for the tundra and they would need my truck for a good while. I need to be able to remove the crossbars and put top down so i can load up dirt bikes and four wheelers. No one seems to be interested in making something like this for my tundra..... contacted dissent to see if they can modify a max modular rack, but no response yet. used the stand alone with the extendo plate last time and they were ok, but want hard bolt install not a clamp. i love these wilco adv ones but i dint know if the top will fold down with the front bar, as it looks to be a pain to remove quickly and easily. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations of fabricators, so far first pic seems so be the easiest to mount to extendo plates or something similar........thoughts?

I appreciate the help, but I mentioned I have already contacted them and am waiting on reply as that modular system will not work for my application as I explained in my earlier post. Still hoping someone has come across something.....

So you contacted them and asked them to modify one of my Max Modular racks? I wouldn't expect a response, they've already copied from us enough.

I want to buy (more likely build myself) a rack that my fast-top will fit under. It's much easier to carry lumber and other long things on a rack that have it sticking out of the short bed of a CM.
These guys make a rack close to I want just not a a price I want. https://www.highspeedweld.com/category/ryderracks/
All aluminum and full welded, custom builds also available.

I asked them if there were parts available to make the rack do what i need it to.
Would you by chance have a solution for me?

I like the max modular systems, only thing i would like to change is the attachment method to the crossbars.... i wonder if i could change it so the whole crossbar comes off instead of just the inside?if i could figure that out i would order one today!

Frankly, you're asking for a lot. It would be a very elaborate design, and 99.9% of our customers aren't interested in that.

looks like I'm going with this below, and Ill make some foot plates that sit out a bit and bolt to inside of deck rail system. I wanted something cooler and more versatile but this should work, its cheaper and holds more weight too

I have actually decided to buy the wilco offload adv tundra rack, and i am going to widen the bars and cut and reweld to a proper fitting foot plate.
