I was going to go with one 10 inch of those but decided on Addictive Audio

Never heard of Active Audio. I’ll have to check those out. I’m sure one 15” would’ve been sufficient but I wanted to really feel the bass in/out of the truck.

:shrugs: he said he was putting LEDs. I didn’t ask or specify what kind.

Their 600 watt sub (v2) has a 320 ounce magnet... thats a lot of magnet on a 2.5" coil.
Their gear doesnt look like the typical off the shelf Chinese catalog components. I like their manuals to.
    Impressive indeed.

There are starting to be too many good sub companies to choose from nowadays.

I dont doubt that at all. They are nicely over built looking.
I recently got an AmericanBass XR 212. 1200 rms. I actually wanted an ssa icon, but the xr being the sound quality version of the Xfl was, and is, a hell of a sub for the price.

This is interesting - yetp a little hard to understand. Did you mean to say your Tundra is “lowered”? Unless that was a typo, I am confused. Never heard of someone wanting to make a Tundra lower - most are happy with stock height or if anything go higher. Am I missing something?

I have a 4/6 McGaughys drop kit on my truck. Yes I meant to say lowered. The lifted lifestyle is not my cup of tea. Different strokes for different folks.

I dont get to see lowered trucks often but from what i have, the tundra (yours) looks pretty damn good in comparison.

Seems like i mostly see the Chevy Silverado when talking about lowered full sized pickups.
Your Tundra definitely will have some envious big 3 owners glaring you when you roll pass them. Lol

Lol thanks! I get the stares on a regular already. In my club I’m one of maybe 5 lowered Tundras. The other 200 plus are lifted.

I won’t be playing it that loud when the kids are in the ride. I may not care about my hearing but I respect theirs.

Ahh, this reminds me of my high school days. Battle of the biggest baddest stereos. Ever 10th truck coming out of the stereo shops had blow-throughs in them. 6x12” subs 4x15” subs. Some pretty big power was being handed to kids by their parents lol.

The owner of this truck is a close friend of mine and I can attest that it is quite the tailgate setup and its tough to beat, even at SEC tailgates. I think we had over 100 people gathered around at a Vols home game a couple of years ago. He has made some significant enhancements since this article has come out.
