Install was very easy. Took about 1 hour with myself and my 14 yr old son. It would have taken less if I wasn't trying to complete the install with a 14 yr old.

I'm not sure if I should have the drop brackets for the bed rails included in the MX4 kit or not. I didn't see them included. However, I was installing at night, so I may have missed them. I am going to go through the packaging tonight and will confirm.

I'd like to get this deal as well. Looks like the MX4 is a pretty popular choice for the tundra.

    Too many to list.....
I have a Extang Trifecta signature series canvas tonneau cover. Really like it. Seems to keep the water out. I've had it for a year now I've had a blanket laying in the back of my bed and it always seems dry.

I got a Revolver X2 and wouldn't trade it for anything else. Absolutely love every feature about it. It can hold up to 400 pounds on top but yet it rolls up. You can't do that with any other roll up cover. If you have a chance to get one do it!! You won't be disappointed.

I was set on the MX4, especially considering the price Supersilver can get it for us, but the Revolver has won me over. Great design and leaves you with much more utility IMO.

I agree that with the Revolver you get more user space when rolled up and can still see out the back window. Doesn't mean a Revolver is for every one. Hell I would have hit up SuperSilverTundra for an MX4 if I hadn't run cross this one.

Anyone have pics of your cover with it "opened"?

I would like to get a cover but I would be keeping it open very often between trips to Home Depot and weekend fishing trips with rods sticking out the back. I don't want to have to remove it all the time.

That's exactly what I was going to say. For the extang, they ask you if you have the rail

Thanks for the pictures. Questions: How is it for weather tightness under normal driving/parked conditions for rain (not ice or snow) and how did you do the install and keep the bed rails? Did you move the rails? I am thinking that I want a revolver so I can see out of the back glass. I don't haul things that often but I am a bit OCD about keeping an eye on stuff when I do, which makes me hesitate on an MX4.

@Slowpoke .......I also have a Revolver and love it. The bed stays dry for the most part, at least dry enough for my needs (after all it's not a SUV), I would say that my bed stays about 98% dry when it rains and stays dry as long as the cover is closed. I ordered mine from a dealer and they did the install for free as a military discount to me, what they did was lower the rail by just about 1 inch all around and everything was good to go. I also like the easy open/close by just rolling it open or closed. No regrets with the revolver from this guy, Sorry for jumping in, just wanted to put my $.02 in the mix :thumbsup:

Weather tightness is pretty darn good. For rain or hose wash I get very little water in the bed after either. When you order there is an option to have rails shipped with it or without, choose with and they'll send you the parts to be able to move your bedrails down just under the rails that hold the X2 on the truck. I am very happy with this cover. I am also very impressed by it.

This is what I have and would highly recommend. Low profile and strong enough to set items on top.
