I’m really happy with the OEM Toyota tonneau cover.

Not crazy about the bulky roll and high price tag

Definitely lots depending on your needs and budget. I personally went the cheaper route but by no means do I feel it sacrificed quality. Even if it only lasts a few years it would be well worth it to me.

Thanks, I’d like it to be aluminum and sturdy, weathertech doesn't look bad

I have the OEM trifold and like it very much so far. I wanted something sturdy with hard exterior given the snow we get here. This is my first truck and hence first tonneu, but in my my mind heavy snow might break or collapse a soft one. I’ll be the first to say I have no idea if that is true but that was my thought process :)

    Highly recommend https://www.agricover.com/lomax/

I had a soft roll up cover for 4 years and it was pretty good, was light/cheap and didn't take up much room when rolled. However was not very secure, which made me nervous when parking in some areas. I've been using the lomax for 1.5 years and its very light for being solid and easily removable. Very sturdy, low profile and simple to use/install quickly. Security wise would be extremely annoying to break into.

OP I have the weathertech. It has been good though very short time of ownership. It was missing a couple parts that helped lock down the middle portion, which were mailed out promptly. Overall its a good cover, but I bought it based on reputation & lifetime warranty(even though the original manufacturer only give 3 years). Check out the other thread, pages of good info, many good options.

Agri Cover makes the hard folding cover and soft cover for weathertech FYI, if that helps the OP
