    I’ve got to say that I’m remembering some damn cold days. I was born in Baton Rouge and remember Icecycles that were at least 8’ long.

    Down here in the swamp many of the local inhabitants as soon as it falls below 90 they bust out the bubble down coats and hoodies. Right now N'Awlins is enjoying some comfortable temps but it'll be back in the 80's -90's by weeks end.

    Early ‘60’s, Baton Rouge, I was just starting grade school. Before the age of digital pictures, but I remember it looking like this after a vicious ice storm:

    I remember some training I did in your fine state. It was hotter than the hinges of hell but i was treated to the best gumbo i've ever had, made it all worth while. BTW that is a great pic
