I have oem and like it cause it was free with the truck and its rubber, not plastic feeling. It doesn’t cover as much as the other options. I just got my wife husky mats for her car and I am happy with the quality. They were less expensive than the weather tech and cover most of the exposed carpet areas.

A few of these threads may help you decide. You can also do a search for just floor mats.

You know it's a Tundra when you step inside, why the need for labels?

To be honest, I wish the HUSKY didn't even say HUSKY.

As for the mats, I put in HUSKY and love them so far.

I'm not too impressed with the Weathertechs in my wife's car. There are spots along the edges that are curled and corners where they won't lay flat. I'd try Husky or the OEM Pro mats if I was in the market to replace my OEM Limited carpet mats. :anonymous:

I like the Weathertechs for durability. Ive had them on four different vehicles and they've outlasted heel toe driving on two manual cars; I tend to wear a hole in my mats, carpet and floorboard when driving stick long term. I've yet to destroy my Weathertechs during any normal use. I also like that it can hold a decent volume of fluid in case of a spill. I've never had a set with a poor fit either.

I hate my Weathertech because they can get very slick when wet. They are like a patch of ice. I've also had one set stain on me and they can occasionally be difficult to clean to perfect white glove standards.

I've not used the Husky brand but they look like a good alternative. You may get something out of this video:

Try the new weathertechs HP liner. softer material like husky with more rear coverage. Love them

Honest opinion I have had all three.

Go with whatever ones are cheapest on your wallet. They all have good quality and hold up pretty well. I don't think you will regret purchasing any of the three brands

I have enjoyed the regular stock ones with some slight modifications (outside edge under trim and OEM carpet/mat anchors for both passenger and rears) so they do not slide.

At the risk of being ostracized; I don't have a Tundra yet but I went old school in my G500 and put in Coco Mats . I had planned to put them in my 911 but haven't as yet since I don't drive it as much. They are rubberized on the bottom and have the coco fiber on top. Very durable and they look great, lots of color options. I would not put them in a work truck but for an everyday driver I really like them.

Got Husky's and all I can do is compare it to my ex-Tacoma's OEM rubber matts. I gotta say the thick OEM rubber matts are IMHO superior, but they just floor matts, so as long as they don't warp or crease, aftermarket is just fine. The advantage over OEM is coverage.

I like the OEM rubber mats that came with my truck.

I have had weather techs and while they are nice I dont believe they work any better than the OEM rubber mats.

I've had husky and weathertech IMO the huskys conform better to the foot well and provide better grip

    My $.02...

I have had my hands on all three.

OEM - They seem pretty decent but for $170 (what my dealer wanted for a set) I think you can do better. They were pliable rubber but on the thin side (long term durability?) and I have seen where people say the passenger side slides around from lack of a carpet anchor.

Weathertech - I bought a set for my wifes SUV 3-4 years ago because all of the commercials on TV and reviews seemed to like them. They fit great when brand new but are made out of a hard but slightly pliable plastic. They still fit in place very well but as others have noted the sides tend to curl down. I am not a huge fan of these after having them and I can't imagine that I would buy another set.

Husky Xact Contour - I have had two sets of these and they are perfect to me. They fit great, have held up very well, utilize OEM anchors where needed, come with a passenger side anchor and offer great coverage (lay over the door trim on the side). The only downside that I can think of is price. MSRP is expensive but try to find a deal on Amazon or wait for a coupon from some retailers. I would much rather have Husky's thicker, softer and more pliable material. As a matter of the fact, I just unboxed the rear liner for my new Tundra.

Out of all the mats I've looked at, the 3d maxpider look and feel the best. very high quality and fit is amazing.

    Function before sparkle.
I have had all three. For me, Husky is the hands down winner.

    Why:

    1. Husky has the best coverage over the seat brackets on a Tundra vs the Weathertech.
    2. If you live in a region that uses salt in the winter, Husky hoses out better.
    3. The OEM has a big gap at the door jab.

For number 2, I go to a self-serve wand wash to clean out the truck. Like many people I pull out the liners and pressure wash them. With the Weathertech, they leave a light colored film that shows up when they dry. They don't look clean. The Husky, using the exact same process, comes out nice and black/clean. No white haze or film. The OEM's washed well with no haze.

I have the Husky Xact Contour as well and love them. The extra protection under the back seat is nice. I have had WeatherTech in the past and prefer the husky over the WT for some of the same reasons others have stated.

Just switched from wt to husky. WT were pretty terrible. Husky is nothing special but is what I expect out of an all weather mat. I'll never buy wt again
