Anyone running the BDS 7" with fox coilovers and 35" tires? If some let's hear some reviews, thanks in advance!

I originally ordered had the 7" BDS kit with fox coil overs. I decided to sell the 7" BDS lift with and keep my fox coilovers. Only because I have other friends that had excessive tire wear with the 7" BDS lift. If your running 35" tires and not a crazy offset I don't see you having any issues though. BDS makes a great lift and they have lifetime warranties on all their stuff as well. If you go with the 7" BDS lift I would suggest you look into coachbuilder or Ekstrom Designs. He sells various components to help improve ride quality and performance. If you add shackles to your rear leaf springs it will help your ride quality a considerable amount. There are other parts suppliers for shackles as well. Changing your front steering ends can also help. Just depends how far you want to go with your lift. I hope this helps you with your decision.

i actually just took my BDS kit off, and Im looking to sell it with Coachbuilder steering ends. if you are interested let me know, im letting it go for a fraction of new. i sold the coilovers and UCA's already but the entire bracket lift and spindles and CB tierods will be up for sale. I loved the kit, only reason i changed is Im going Long travel now so different direction with the truck

I got the BDS 7" with the Fox coilovers and 35's. I guess I should have asked the guys with smaller lifts the correct tire size I needed prior to installing.IMG_1099.jpgIMG_0934.jpgIMG_0969.jpg

I like it the way it is. 37's You gotta change gears for sure, you're gonna rub, your Speedo for sure is gonna be off and not sure by you but by me you start toying with the legality of bumper height

I like it a lot. No real problems at all to speak of. Right after I got done with the lift I had a little shimmy at around 50 mph ended up being the tire balance. I had always had good luck balancing with beads in the past but we sucked them out and threw on weights and now she rides great. Ride comfort is awesome handling the bumps and everything. Turning radius did take a little bit of a hit compared to stock but so have all my trucks in the past. Mpgs according to trucks display were 15.9 before lift and Im at 13.1 today. I havnt hand calculated the mpgs cause I dont really care that much. No real noticeable power loss going to the bigger tires she still seems to have plenty of get up and go when I need it. Also I havnt had any problems with the shift points even the higher ones. I think with 37's is when you start pushing the capabilities of the stock gears. Make sure you go back in, and re torque everything after a few hundred miles I had a couple things work loose on the sway bar ends and control arm but thats pretty normal with any new lift. No abnormal tire wear thus far but Ive only had it for a couple thousand miles. I have spoke with others that had issues with the VSC after the lift but were all solved by doing a zero point calibration. My ass end did sag a little with just the lift. I installed some toytec shackles at 1 1/4 and popped it back up. Prior to pulling the trigger I would get @R0CKETMAN s blessing he seems to be the wheel and tire aficionado around these parts.

Also I had the most minimal rub in reverse that has already gone away on its own. 35x12.50r18 +1 18x9

I think 35s look fine. An is plenty of rubber on the ground. Fixing to pull the trigger myself.on a new lift. I will go with 35s on 18s more then likely. Also because it will be my daily driver.

35" are easier to work either, better performance on stock 4.30 gears and less money. 37" will definitely require more trimming some times a lot more pending the offset of your wheels.

True, plan on running 20" wheels, I just hope the 35s don't look too small with the 7" BDS lift!

35" tires on a 7" lift will look too small, IMO.
