Ahh, so actual west Texas. Not sure why we call the panhandle west Texas as well.

My 1 year old Napa battery probably saved me this morning. I had an appointment this morning and went through a patch of fog so I turned on the headlights. Well you probably guessed, I left them on during the appointment and when I came out i saw them on. They had been on for well over an hour. The Tundra fired right up with no drama.

I have read a couple guys that changed out there AGM for flooded as it was not lasting as long and also the diode was charging it correctly. Plus they are super excited couple probably buy 3 interstate for one AGM.

I'll take a pic in the morning. Its my 04 Sequoia, which i assume is the same. I believe all I had to do was move the small ground point. I didnt even bother trimming the tray because it only bumps it up by like 1/4" on one side. Heres someone else's pic from the TSOR fb group.

he makes it sound complicated but its not: upload_2022-12-13_21-36-54.jpg

Do you know if the specs are worth the upgrade from the 27F? Especially the reserve capacity

I mean its 100AH, the same battery in 27F is 90AH. the choice is yours :)
I use mine for lights when camping, I'm careful not to run it down too much, but its never needed a jump the next morning. That being said i only do this when i have both jump packs on me... dont want to get stranded in the woods.

Just bought and installed a 24F interstate I picked up from Costco. They didn’t have a 27F so easy choice. The battery that was in the truck was a yota labeled unit of unknown age. It was real slow to start yesterday morning at 8°. After I finished some firewood work, I threw it in. Just like the timing belt, I feel much better knowing it’s new.
