Oh, sorry have a lot going on right now at work, so it's a 3.0 charger so it supposedly charges faster than some. I hardly ever use the USB port or C plug part of it cuz I have two USB ports in the Rago Fab dash mount. I charge my phone there.

No. You have to cut the factory wire and wire the new one. It's not bad. I did it on the front dash and rear console for people riding in the back to charge their phones. So you will need to take the dash apart.

One thing you need to know is this charger/volt meter is larger than factory one. So you need to drill a bigger hole. I would start from the inside.

I’ve actually already installed it! I released the factory wire terminals from the plastic 90* housing on the original 12v outlet and reinstalled them on the new outlet with electrical tape around it. 61FFE789-BD40-4DCC-B143-31428956A877.jpg
    Thanks for the response!

    It all worked out.
I've got better things to do than to top off an AGM battery once a month with a charger..

Just topped off my X2 overnight while I slept soundly in bed and wow it was hard!

This battery is over three years old now and no issues except for what I mentioned above. :)

I decided on my AGM because I have a ton of Baja Design lights and most recently added a Blackvue dash cam that runs a minimum of 6 hours in park mode. I don't think other batteries could handle it....the other bit of good news is when you get the trailer pkg on newer tundras it comes with 180amp alternator which helps a bunch when the thing is running.
