Could be a bad alternator, should be under warranty. I would go back to the dealership.

Owner manual should have an explanation for all the dash lights. The battery symbol just means some kind of voltage problem, I think. Jim could be right about the alternator. Either way, with it being that new I would just take it to the dealer to get whatever it is replaced/repaired.

Yeah seems odd for a brand new truck.

Stock batteries are known to be sh*t from Toyota. Also from Subaru. Alternators are funny. Some will last forever, and others of the exact same make/model/part will only go for a short while before cratering.

Just as I figured it would do. Drive about 45 mins to the dealer. The battery blinker stopped flashing.
They tested battery and alternator. Both came back good. Maybe I just need to drive my truck more.

I wouldn't be surprised if your battery was going bad. My battery was replaced at 6 months old. It was leaking and beginning to have issues with starting.

It's battery or alternator. 14v while running means alternator is prob working. What is voltage of battery when truck is off? Use multimeter.

    Some.
Might be benifitial to get the battery load tested. If it fails, be sure to take the print out with you when you go back to the dealer.

I just hope it doesn't come back. Everything seems normal again.

These newer vehicles are not sold with quality batteries or meant to sit for long periods of time. Grab an Interstate battery from Costco or an O'Reilley's Platinum, you will be golden for a good 3-4 years or so depending on your location provided you drive it every 5-6 days for about 30 minutes or more. If the dealer replaces it, you just get a repeat of the same junk.
