    ive been emailing Battleborn nonstop being a pain in the ass customer and the guys couldnt be better. true A quality service. its worth the price just for the programming for me. theyve programmed all my local police stations so if i get saved from one speed trap its worth the cost. cant wait to play with it

    So one of the two I ordered came out of the box and has no audio from the speaker or jack anyone else have this issue?

    It is fully charged and acts the exact same as the functioning one just no sound I even went as far as to match menu settings to the working one and still no dice

    btw, not specific to this seller. But BaoFeng radios will be regulated by FCC starting 09/30/2019 so stock up while you can..

    "Effective September 30, 2019, no person shall sell or offer for sale hand-held portable radio equipment capable of operating under this subpart (FRS) and under any other licensed or licensed-by-rule radio services in this chapter (devices may be authorized under this subpart with part 15 unlicensed equipment authorizations)."

    Ordered a couple today. Uprated batts and some peripherals as well. There's a Labor Day discount code on the main page for anyone on the fence. I wasn't sure what to request regarding programming, as they note that NOAA/emergency radio freqs are in by default. That in mind, I listed states that we travel/plan to travel. If anything special lands on the radios as a result I'll post up.
