Have the 8 standard and it’s definitely got a low rumble, hp gain is seen mostly at higher rpms, definitely lose some mpg, about 1.

I’ll be calling the shop here shortly and placing my deposit, so count me in +1. I am going with the 8” alum steel because I’m a follower and everyone else has laid their case which matches my needs. I was going to hold and watch the numbers, but what’s the point, I’ll just have to wait longer on the list and the next deal won’t be until Memorial Day and that deal last year wasn’t as good as this. The veterans deal is hard to beat but I can’t wait until November!

I agree. I missed the Veterans deal myself, can't wait that long.

Order placed! Can’t wait until I can get rid of this shitty, raspy botch job by PO.

Just some FYI, he said my build week is 30 day from today, 3/11, and will ship out on the Friday after it’s built.

Anyone running the budget system? Have just enough money left over for mods to buy this system but don’t want to wake the neighbors in my small neighborhood since I leave for work at 445am. If I need to get the 8inch system to accomplish this I’ll wait till next year.

I have a similar setup to the budget right now and if my neighbors had my truck, I’d hate them. They probably sleep 15’ next to my truck on the second story. I feel like shot every morning and 30 days can’t come quick enough. That cold start “THWOMP” is brutal.

Roughly 50%. But Keith is cool, so if there’s an alternative payment structure you need, he’ll likely work with you. Just give him a call, he’s super helpful.

I put a deposit of $337 down and the second half would be $337 minus the second discount. This was for the 8” starting at $749.

I’m planning on upgrading my PRO system - not sure if that would count towards the discount.

Haven't been on the site too much lately but shopping for tires/shocks and thought I would chime in here. I got the 10" last year and love it. I never got around to installing the resonator and with my driving habits i haven't even noticed drone that I thought was an issue. I called Keith and after answering some questions (main one being how much towing I would do) and he recommended the 10". So if you are on the fence, I say this is probably my favorite mod so far and with this deal now is the time to do it.

What is the advantage of going stainless steel over aluminium for the standard 8?

More rust resistant and the OEM exhaust is stainless so it’s back to all stainless.

One more question, is anyone going with the dual budget dumped? Or is the majority doing the standard 8? I was totally looking at TRD duals but heard they actually hurt low end torque, that's lame. I want a solid sound and wouldn't mind some little gains.

    Anyone know the current count?

We occasionally get our roads salted (brine) in Dallas. Would I be fine with the aluminized steel?

The budget dumped is loud, really loud, the 8 is a mild low grumble that picks up when you accelerate. Keith has done extensive research on his designs, from what i can experience no loss of low end torque with the 8

I thought I read somewhere that it comes painted. I’ve had similar unpainted exhaust on my 4runner and we get brined a few times a year and didn’t have an issue in the two years it’s been on. I took the chance on non-SS.

Anyone know the specs on the flange bolts for this section? I’d order the OEM bolts but just recently placed an order through cool springs and missed the opportunity so to Lowe’s it is. I’d rather replace them now than see what they will look like when I take them off way down the road.
