I have the 10” S/S standard on my truck with the resonator. I tow a 6000# boat and it’s absolutely perfect. I smile every time i start the the truck. It’s quiet while towing and on highway but sounds perfect when you get into gas pedal.

Lastly, S/S is a little more raspier and crisper than alumnized steel.

So I had the chance to listen to 8" and 6" in person, both without resonators today.

The 8 has a nice low rumble. It is just a tad louder than stock, but definitely noticeable. To me, it sounded like a responsible system to get.

The 6 is definitely louder than the 8. Almost as deep as the 8. Not even close to as raspy as videos show online. Very similar exhaust tone to the 8. The 6 still rumbles. Volume being the only noticeable difference. The 6 is not obnoxious or very loud. There are cars that sound louder than the 6.

Like most have said, you can't go wrong with either. More down to personal preference. Do you want to hear it all the time, go 6. Do you want it a bit louder than stock, then go 8.

I will be going with the 6.

Does anybody have any reports with the budget system that’s not dumped?

I assume the budget system is the least expensive one can get?

The budget is the least expensive, its our "Fast, Loud and Cheap" version, but still no drone!!! If you want something quieter, then you would start looking at the standard systems.

Budget and Standards are 38% off right now. I attached some info that really breaks the systems down for you.

Budget right now is $447.40 shipped and standard systems are $688.38 shipped in stainless.

I have the budget that’s not dumped and love it. I didn’t install the resenator either and no complaints form the kids or wife on long trips.

Yes the single system is a solid choice. 3-10 HP gain, 1-5 MPG gain, & low end torque gained.

Mine is ordered, just watched the install video on YouTube. Looks like a fun shop.
It looks like a pretty easy install.
What do you guys think about lining up the resonator on rear pipe w stock system, then when you drop rear tailpipe, cutting hole at that point. That way you don’t have to drop it 2x for hole.
Keith cheated w plasma cutter. I’m thinking cheating w cut off wheel.
Anyway, drop rear pipe 1x and cut at same time???
    Shortcut???

The would work. Just be careful not to cut the hole too big.

    TRD Dual Options!!!

    http://dirtydeedsindustries.com/product-category/dual-systems/

Just wrote up an order for a guy and the 18x5 (medium) is $1199 shipped outside of CA, or just under $1300 shipped inside CA.

****HOWEVER this is a great video to watch to really see the pros and cons of a dual vs a single system.
