Were you noticing leaks with the OEM clamp?

I got condensation leaks but never an actual exhaust leak. I was more concerned about the stock clamp getting deformed from each time I remove and reinstall it. It was cross threading because of it.

I noticed on Keith's installation video that he suggested seating/reseating 3 or 4 times and tightening a bit each time. I'm glad I saw this because I had trouble getting the new gasket to seat good the first time, but after twisting/reseating it tightened right up. I can certainly see how the clamp could fail if you removed and reinstalled it several times. i only removed and reinstalled once and I was concerned, but so far no leaks. Nice option though if it does later...

@ChucklesToy yeah I never had an issue w the gasket seal but rather the stock clamp deforming. Probably due to the size difference of Keith's pipe compared to the stock. But I feel much better with this new clamp. It def feels much more secure installing it. And I know it will stay the same no matter how many times I uninstall/install it.

    Not nearly enough room here!
My 10" single has been on my 2010 for 3 years or so. I had a Corsa System with their Touring Muffler when I spoke to Keith, so he knew just what I was after. We make a 1000 mile tow every year for vacation and I certainly didn't want a system louder than the Corsa. My 10" BA system sounds refined and unobtrusive, till I nail the Go-Pedal,then it makes me grin like a monkey!:D

I just used this write up to install my resonator on my dirty deeds 10". I drove around for a week or so with the resonator off and didn't think it was a big deal. But yeah, after I installed the resonator I noticed what little drone there was is gone. I didn't think I would have to drop the spare but there was no way to get the drill in there. Thanks for the write up!

Keith had a how-to video on the Bamuffler web site where he recommended taking the exhaust pipe off to drill it on the bench. So that's how I did mine, without dropping the spare tire. Since I already had the pipe loose, it was pretty easy. By the way, he used a plasma cutter with the pipe still on the truck...

Installed my 8" system Saturday. Installed just as easy as on the video. Sounds just as advertised. Quiet at start up. Nice low rumble going up the street. Quiet at highway speeds. Floor it and all hell breaks loose! Painted rear stock pipe 2000 ' degree flat black to match the new kit. Very happy with results. Just what I was looking for. Peace. D

    Everything. Literally.
Just installed my budget dumped from @DD the other day.
Started up my truck with my kid standing next to it, and she immediately started crying.
I mean, if your exhaust makes your kid cry, what else can you ask for.

I got the 8" Stainless BA System from Keith with the Resonator and Really like it.
I wanted something that Looked Stock but has a Great V8 Growl WOT & No Drone on the Freeway.
I had him leave it Unpainted so the Stainless would Shine. It is a Little Louder now that I have the Supercharger Installed. Still No Drone on the Freeway.
Even better, after I got the Supercharger Installed Keith offered to Upgrade mine to his Duel System & DEDUCT the Full Price I Paid him for the 8" System from the New Duel System.

Strange, i installed an 8 inch today. The fel-pro 60461 wouldnt fit. I reused the one yhat came with the original muffler. Truck only had 400 miles on it so it was in great shape. The 60461 was just a tad to small.

I just changed mind to the TRD dual replacement from the 6" I originally ordered. There's a group buy going on for free shipping. Hope you find someone to let you hear it in person. Good luck and check out the group buy thread if you are considering the TRD replacement at all. It'll save you $130.

4” will actually have more rasp. I got the 8” and was a tad too quiet for me. I removed the resonator and chopped my tail pipe after the axel and it’s a lot louder. Has a slight hint of drone in some rpms but not enough for me to do anything about. But it sounds really aggressive during startup and light throttle now.

The drone was getting to me without the resonator and the tail pipe chopped after the axels. Put the resonator on and much better. No more drone.
