They're both steel. One's just an aluminized steel, and one's a stainless. The stainless is more resistant to corrosion from salt water or salt on the roads, but doesn't sound like that's as much of an issue in Phoenix. @dirtydeeds will definitely call you back and make sure you get the exhaust you want!!

See above post. Keith will be able to go into more detail about the best system for you, but I gave a basic overview of the differences.

Gotcha. I might just go with the better materials, no use splitting hairs over $100 at this point.

Yeah, I'm in SW VA and get about the same weather. I'm thinking aluminized because I'll probably spray it with high temp paint anyways. Decisions decisions.

Keith told me they already spray down each unit with high temp paint. BBQ paint essentially.

I just installed my 6" stainless about 3 weeks ago. It is a great system. Fortunately, I lucked out and was able to get in on the last group buy. For the first two days, I ran the BAM without the resonator, and it was really loud. The resonator does clean up the sound and any vibration or drone. I advise to buy the resonator whether you install it or not. Overall, I really like the system, and it has a nice throaty, aggressive sound when I get on the accelerator. With the resonator on, I honestly don't think it is that loud. I may even consider buying the budget system in the future after saving up some $$. However, I live in a very quiet neighborhood, and I have a wife and 2 very young kids and the 6" is the perfect setup for me at the moment. I guess unless you are towing I couldn't imagine getting a 10, but everyone's taste is subjective. I think the 6 is good if you want aggressiveness between the budget and the 8. I was torn between the 6 and 8 for 2 weeks before buying the 6. I don't regret it at all, and I highly recommend the system. Also, give the muffler time to break-in. The first couple of days the accelerator felt different and so did my truck. However, I believe my truck has adjusted well. I have noticed an increase in torque, hp, shifts are crisper, and my RPMs increase quicker.

Keith is a good man, and he is great with customer service and answers any concerns. The system is awesome and resonator works well.

    Tips:
Before the install, I sprayed WD-40 Rust Release on all of the hangers and bolt locations about a week prior every night. The night before I sprayed PB Blaster just on the metal bolt locations and left the garage partially open.
When I did the install, the hammer I used really sucked, so I just used WD-40 rust release and my hands to get the system off the hangers. I did a lot of grunting during this. Removing the bolts was a little nerving because my truck is 6 years old. They were really stuck, and I had to use more grunting to get them to move but they finally made a loud "pop"[don't be alarmed by it] when torqued hard enough and came loose.
Getting the system off was the hardest part.
You don't need a lift at all, but it would help.
The total time would probably take 2-3 hours including clean up.
There is an install video online and just follow it. The rest of the process is fairly straight forward.
As aforementioned, be patient with the process and the system.
    Have fun!

New 6" and Old muffler. Old muffler actually was a "Tenneco". It has a Toyota serial number.
When I bought my truck, it actually came with an exhaust system on it from Toyota.
It wasn't that bad, but I got tired of the sound. Also, I don't think it had any performance value.
    However, it was light weight.

The new BAM is awesome, and I don't regret it.
Have a safe Memorial Day Weekend!
