A little of this and a little of that.
    What's the difference?

This was a big decision for me. Ultimately chose 6". Wish I had the chance to hear both in person first.

The difference is two 6" long mufflers vs two 8" long mufflers.
The 6" is louder than the 8".
The 8" might be a little deeper than the 6".
They can also make a 7" from what I have seen, just to complicate things even more.

I was at Dirty Deeds open house this weekend and met a lot of guys with his systems. They all praised his products. Like csuviper said : the bigger the quieter. I met someone at his shop that had a custom 10" system built and did this for the reason he tows a big trailer. He still says it sounds great but no droan. Give Kieth a call.........Great guy.

    Thanks for the mentions guys.

@TruckinIt if local to San Diego come in by and we will let ya try both. If not I always try to narrow it down before sending one to ya.

But FYI everyone bamufflers is the only exhaust manufacturer whom guarantees the sound. If 6" is too loud or too raspy we will exchange for 8" free.

If 8" is too quiet we will exchange for 6" free.

If either is too quiet we will exchange for budget system free.

Thanks @dirtydeeds , I am in Las Vegas so trying out will be a no go. I believe I want a 6" as long as drone is nonexistent (or close to it) with the windows up while on the freeway.

I also would like it to growl a little while idling and at lower RPMs. I've looked at a ton of videos online but with computer speakers it's real hard to tell what sound the 6" or 8" will make while sitting right there next to it. I'm just trusting everyone that praises your work, I guess.

I was going to go with a Flowmaster or Banks Monster until I landed on these forum pages.
