When you say some, enough to have them aimed down a few inches about 25 feet from a wall?

Not sure if this was answered elsewhere. I have oem fog lights now on my 2017. Do I need the bracket kit in addition to the fog lights? Would I be looking at $294 plus the cost of bracket kit? Thanks.

I have the OEM LED fogs on my 2019 platinum. Would these still be a vast improvement from them?

I have done a bit of search and couldn’t find a Ton of info on lumens for the headlights or the fogs. If anyone knows it would be appreciated!

The Squadron SAE is the first street LED offering from Baja Designs. This light retains the same form factor as the rest of our Squadron Series, but the pattern and circuitry are optimized to give our SAE Squadron a road-approved punch! We’ve put this light through rigorous tests to ensure that it would be an upgrade from common LED and Halogen factory fog lights. If you want to upgrade your daily driver with a road-legal product, the Squadron SAE line is for you.

@Baja Designs - Are the wide cornering lenses the same for the SAE and non-SAE lights? (ie if I order amber and then decide later that I want clear, can I use the extra set of clear wide-cornering lenses that I already have and still be SAE compliant?)

What the difference between these 2 kits?

44-7713 (Ford/Toyota SAE Amber, Fog Light Kit) for $355

44-7714 (Toyota Squadron SAE Amber Fog light kit) for $430?

They are not the same. You won't be able to purchase an Amber SAE lens kit or White SAE Lens kit.

uService doesn't apply to our SAE approved lights. Otherwise, customers would try to convert their Squadron Sports into an SAE light.

If you own the lights, and you're currently running Amber, and absolutely want to change to White, give us a ring. We can go over your options for the swap

44-7713 is for the 07-13 Toyota Tundra
44-7714 is for the 14-19 Toyota Tundra

The brackets for the 07-13 Tundra don't cost as much to manufacture which is why the kit is less expensive

I have the original Squadron Sports with the clear driving combo pattern that have 1800 lumens that I use to supplement my trucks high beams. I was going to get the new version of the Squadron Sports to replace my current Sports and use my current Sports with the amber wide cornering for fogs to replace my current PIAA fogs. Would the SAE Sports be the better option for fogs? I am the same as AirGuner that I only use my fog lights when needed in foul weather.

The Squadron SAE is the best option for the fogs. Our Squadron Sport in Wide Cornering will also work but it has more spill light going upwards. This spill light does add extra glare in very poor conditions.

Are these too bright to be left on all the time (like high beams)? Or can they be on any time normal headlights/fogs would be?

You should treat these as your normal fog lights. Most states only allow the fog lights to be on during inclement weather.

    However, many people ignore this

Thanks! I was a little surprised when @Baja Designs said the lenses were different. (Was not looking to convert my current lights to SAE - just wanted the option to change lenses and not have to re-purchase a complete light set.)

I was hoping to lens change for SAE as I just got a set of BD before I even knew about the SAE set.

    Me too. No notice though.

It’s my first order directly from them so I am not sure if they send confirmation emails
