We typically offer some type of incentive around Black Friday. I don't have any details at this time on what the promotion will involve. Stay tuned!

    Some stuff
Been on the road for the past couple of weeks but had a chance to look into this yesterday as now both of the middle banks are not turning on. The female side of the harness had loose wiring. I pulled it apart, soldered in new connectors and tried again. No luck. Middle banks were still off. I am not using the backlight option so the harness is only connecting the black and white, not the green. I did notice that I put in 14g wiring, not 12, so I need to redo that.

Is there anything I can do to service this on my end? The thought of pulling it out of the hood, boxing it then shipping to you is not getting me excited.

Whats the light pattern on these fogs? Do they project light everywhere, or does it have a cutoff similar to a projector?

The most popular pattern is the Wide Cornering pattern since it is designed for poor conditions like fog, rain, snow, dust, etc. This will provide much more usable light compared to the factory fog lights. These don't have a sharp cutoff so driver discretion is advised when running on the street. We do have many customers running them without issues.

We have received lots of phone calls, emails, and private messages regarding something really cool at SEMA. They don't call us The Scientists of Lighting for nothing! We started with Halogen then HID, then LED, and NOW Laser technology! We are still in the prototyping stage. We still have improvements to make before they are ready for launch. As they are now, they provide a great increase in intensity distance over our high performance Racer Edition series, but as we dial them in more we are expecting some really exciting results!

We don't have specific details available at this time. Stay tuned for more info!

I received my new bar after this happening.

Any idea what changes were made to rectify this?

On your bar in particular? I'd have to look at our log for the repair to see exactly what failed or was the issue. We always note repairs in a repair log and discuss over weekly meetings to ensure an issue is caught and a fix is put in place to prevent it from happening again.

Yes, with the 40inch S8 in particular. Just wondering if something has been done differently on new S8s to correct sections of lights working intermittently.

We actually just received your bar today and haven't had a chance to inspect and repair yet. I don't have any details on the cause and fix at this time.

To all naysayers about the amber spread being any more productive than white light in adverse conditions (primarily snow, as my test was done in blizzard conditions):

    My experience last night proved
@Baja Designs amber squadron sports provide the perfect mixture of light with my HIDs.

With just HIDs I could see just OK under enormous snow fall. With ambers kicked in I could see better (not by leaps and bounds), but what was impressive was the distance and the detailed road surface textures I could see that made the drive easier to plan for rather than white knuckling.

Well worth the money and I'm making another purchase today for more definition and capabilities. to Bailey for the endurance with me as a customer.

    @Baja Designs Two questions:

    1. I have the 40" high power bar. The instructions say that if I connect a second momentary switch I can have a dim mode and a flashing mode. Except my switch will only make it go dim. Are the hi power bars different or did I get a wonky one?

    2. Can you guys do a clear or amber rock cover for the bar??? I have black because SoCal, but it would be nice to have a clear or amber cover for when I am following someone

    Thanks for posting up!

    1. The OnX6 Hi-Power only has High/Low functionality. The OnX6 and OnX6 Racer Edition have High/Low/Strobe.
    2. We are working on it! Should have samples in soon. If the samples are approved we should have them at the end of the year (Black, Clear, Amber).

I believe the promo code will not work during this time. I can't say 100% until the time comes but typically they are inactive. Doesn't hurt to try BDForums at checkout during 11/20-11/27 to see if it's still valid.

I was looking at the PROS but I'm starting to think the 9500 lumens of the XL80s sound like a true step up. I was looking at @TRD15559 night pics and they look serious
