Do you guys have a harness that's plug n play for the RLT 30"? Planning on buying one for my rack. Also which RLT option has the turn lights, reverse, and brake? I know they all have them but I just want to get one for the sake of safety driving regularly.

 

Did you notice any negative issues arising due to cutting those hood supports? Noise, flex, fit... Looks great!

 

SO what ditch lights did you go with? I'm too on the fence with the size.

So for the xl and squadron sport there are a few differences and similarities.

They both produce 3,150 lumens at 26 watts

For the XL Sport Driving Combo

-The XL Sport LED light utilizes our High Speed Spot reflectors providing for a longer bigger beam pattern. The reason is the light is bigger so we use our bigger reflectors allowing for a bigger beam pattern. This helps with higher speeds and just all around more lighting needs with no extra power draw

For the Squadron Sport Driving Combo

-Sport utilizes 4 LEDs making it ideal for near field, side/backup and scene lighting application.
-This light being smaller allows for more placement options around the vehicle.

Those are the major differences!

i cut mine, haven’t found any negative effects so far. Make sure you follow the instructions exactly, the big 3” holes in there have a purpose for airflow.

Anyone have some guidance on installing these lights to a switch like auxbeam? Just trying to figure out what exactly would be needed since the BD's have a plug style connector but the auxbeam gets wired directly.

Anyone try a 20” OnX6+ Straight LED... install in the lower grill on a 3rd gen? I know the an S8 kit exists for the lower slot but really like the X6. It is a little taller but think with some mods to the opening it should work. Other issue is need to make own brackets and attach to the front crash beam.

Hey BD, what can be done to squadron sports and S2 sports housing’s where the coating has bubbles and chipped off?

 

I have the same issue.

 

hopefully they can chime in with a great option

 

They did tell me to send them back, but it would be great to have them ship another set and then me ship the damaged ones back so I don't have downtime.

Send those lights in under warranty that are having issues with the powder coating. This is covered under warranty and we will get them replaced for you. You can reach me directly at brandonk@bajadesigns to get this taken care of.

Pretty good considering most companies won’t warranty powder coat getting from their facility to your door when purchased new.

 

Do you have an option to send new ones and then once the new ones get to me I can send the old ones back? Happy to give you the credit card info for the exchange. I just want to do one shop trip instead of two. Thanks

I hope everyone appreciates that Brandon is going way above and beyond for even considering this. It’s why I laughed earlier. BD has the best customer service and product support in the industry. Pretty much every other company would reply politely with nope, and laugh to themselves. Bravo BD.

 

I’ve always appreciated what BD does for their customers. I’ve been one since 2015 and living locally to their location they’ve always taken care of me. After BD was purchased by a bigger company I was afraid that this would change but it hasn’t and because of this I’m a life long customer.

 

I've had the same experience. Great customer service. That's harder and harder to find with a lot of other companies these days.
