I ran all rear lights from Switch pros to junction box (10 awg) underneath truck bed. From junction to lights 14 awg since minimal amps. Then drilled 4 truckbed locations (upper corners) to drop wire. Have S2s work/scene right, left, & rear for overlanding. Let me know if can be more help..

@Pinay there is a local guy doing electrical wirings on trucks. he is good at it. plenty of guys using him for their complicated systems. you could have him do it for you.
I did mine but there is definitely some work and patience involved.

We don't have any how-to videos, sorry.

A few people have chimed in regarding mounting. The wiring comes down to personal choice. I ran a lead from my switch pros directly to the Work/Scene lights

    Squadron SAE | UPDATE

I wanted to post an update on the Squadron SAE. There was a delay in receiving LEDs for these units and we aren't able to receive production quantities until late July. The good news is Amber was approved and we will be offering White and Amber lighting upon release.

ETA has been moved to Late July / Early August. I'll post more updates as we have them

    PRE-ORDER COMING SOON

Brand new for Baja Designs is our SAE certified light. This light is based on our Squadron series. While there are many visual characteristics that stayed the same the pattern, and circuitry is optimized in order to give our SAE light a street legal punch! We’ve put this light through rigorous tests to ensure that it would be an upgrade from most LED, HID, and Halogen factory fog lights.

Baja Designs will NOT be offering a Squadron SAE upgrade service. The upgrade requires the lights to be stripped to bare housings and built back up. This requires a lot of labor and would put a big delay in our production department. Upgrade pricing would be nearly the same price as retail price on the new lights.

Well this sucks. I get the technical and manufacturing side of it, but I have an expensive pair of lights the wife gave me as a gift I can't use.
Is or will there be a swap program for existing Squadron light owners who need a legal light?

Just got the call from 4WP that my amber squadron fog lights kit is ready to pick up, looking forward to getting them hooked up.

Now, I’m planning to design and make my own switch plate for all the lights/accessories I’m going to install. Anyone have any idea how I would bypass the factory fog light control and wire them a separate switch I can control at any time? Preferably with the ability to reconnect them to the factory fog light control if I ever needed to. Not an electrical guy, so I’m not sure if this is possible.

The Squadron SAE is the first street LED offering from Baja Designs. This light retains the same form factor as the rest of our Squadron Series, but the pattern and circuitry are optimized to give our SAE Squadron a road-approved punch! We’ve put this light through rigorous tests to ensure that it would be an upgrade from common LED and Halogen factory fog lights. If you want to upgrade your daily driver with a road-legal product, the Squadron SAE line is for you.

    BMT - Battery Management Technology

Our Engineers have put substantial efforts towards ensuring our light bars are running at 100%, while doing this we’ve found the next threshold in pushing our bars that much harder. Your vehicle is only capable of producing a certain amount of current and distributing it to A/C components, Radios, Vehicle ECUs, and other systems. Baja Designs has found a way to pull every last amp out of your vehicle by using our new BMT. We’ve integrated new components onto our circuitry to manage the amount of draw that our OnX6 is pulling from your vehicle. When your vehicles charging system drops below 13.5V with the light bar on, our light will begin to gradually throttle its output to maintain a constant current. Reasons for your vehicle reaching this voltage would be turning on lights, stereo equipment, air compressors, and other accessories. This results in slight dimming to the light, protection of wiring harness, and added protection to all of your vehicle’s electrical system.

Dual Sport Line To Be Discontinued August 1st

After more than 25 years of producing the light that started it all, Baja Designs is discontinuing their line of Dual Sport Kits. Orders for new Dual Sport Kits will be accepted until August 1, 2019; after which Baja Designs will continue to support the product line while components are available, with an anticipated total phase out by Q1 of 2020*. Baja Designs will continue to produce and sell their popular motorcycle LED headlight replacements, however product with a halogen bulb, turn signal, or taillight will be discontinued on said date.

“It is a bittersweet decision,” expressed Alan Roach, founder of Baja Designs. “I engineered the first Dual Sport Kit in my garage.” While they have seen a slight down-shift in sales of Dual Sport Kits, their LED and Laser light sales have grown exponentially.

Baja Designs is still hoping to find someone interested in continuing this product line’s legacy while they shift their commitment to drop-in lighting solutions for dirt bikes, adventure bikes, side by sides, ATVs, overland vehicles, and vehicle specific applications. When Deanne Moore, CEO, was asked how she felt about the decision she voiced, “the line deserves more attention than what Baja Designs can offer right now, but it would be a great business opportunity for a motorcycle enthusiast.”

Baja Designs remains focused on creating leading edge lighting solutions and will continue to design our factory replacement LED and Laser headlight kits for dirt bikes. “Our racing heritage and passion for the off-road industry will guarantee that we continue to develop and deliver the highest performing and superior quality lighting solutions we are known for,” Trent Kirby, COO.

*Replacement part availability will be determined by manufacturer availability and require minimum order quantities

Wouldn't mind seeing some real-world usage pics of this in action to get an idea of the light output and field it actually covers.
