You can save some $ and get Squadron Pros, lower cost higher lumens.

I was wrong. Here's the details
    XL Sport: 26w / 3,150 Lumens / $199.95 /
    Squadron Sport: 26w / 3,150 Lumens / $119.95
    Squadron Pro: 40w / 4,900 Lumens / $219.95
The squadron Pro is little more expensive w/ a lot more lumens.

What's the recommended wire gauge for the 30" and 40" S8 bar to run them to a Switch Pros? 12 gauge? 14?

Whats your recommendation on how much amber lighting to run? I currently have my upgraded squadron sports as fogs in amber. I have another set of squad sports for ditch, a 40in s8 in my hood bulge and a 40in arc OnX6 behind my grill but all in white.

Question... So I'm wiring my 2 S8 bar for my switch pros, an older 40" and a new 30". On the 40" I have 3 wires, white, black and green. The green is a much smaller gauge. Which one is power, ground and the accessory?

White is your power, Green is the backlighting of the bar.

We don't have a set recommendation for the amount of Amber Lighting. Some customers run a pair of Squadron Sports and some customers run a full OnX6 40" in Amber. It comes down to personal preference.

Typically a set of Squadron Sports or Squadron Pros is enough amber for most.

For the S8 LED Light Bar:

    White - Postive +
    Black - Negative -
    Green - Amber Backlight +

Can the green wire just be tied into parking lights?

We have a few customers that chose to wire it that way. We don't include any instructions for this though

Driving combo. Same with the Squadron Pro Fogs.

I still need to move the onx6 up to top grill. The bar on the bumper blocks a bunch.

    @Baja Designs

quick wiring question on the Onyx 6 Hipower, for the green wire (momentary switch option) that should just be a basic constant 12 volt source on the line side and the load side goes directly to the light bar so when the momentary switch is depressed to switch modes the 12 volt signal will go to the light correct??

The OnX6 Hi-Power (now OnX6+) applies ground to the green wire. Running positive 12v will not activate the dim feature.
Use a standard on/off "mode" switch. Running a momentary switch will only temporarily activate the dim feature

@Baja Designs Im using a Switch Pro 9100 with, flash, strobe and dimming features. When activating any of these features through the SP, will or can it cause damage to the lights?

    A few questions:
1: I'm looking at getting either a pair of xl80 driving combo, a pair of LP9 pros or a pair of LP6's. Do the 20w LED's shine further or wider? Or do the more LED's and the IPT do better for ditch lighting and midfield?
2: Do you have any night shots of the LP6 vs the LP9? Is there a drastic difference between the 2 in output?
3: Are there any specials planned for black Friday this year? Thanks.

    Thanks for posting up!

    1. The LP6 and LP9 will have more distance and nearfield lighting over the XL80. Both lights have more Spot optics over the XL which will give you more down range lighting. The IPT can't be beaten for nearfield and cornering lighting. With that said, the XL80 is still a great light!

    2. Working on getting some night shots. I'll have them posted when we do. Here is a quick comparison:

    LP9 Pro

    Forward Projecting Lumens - 11,025
    IPT Lumens - 2,280

    LP6 Pro
    Forward Projecting Lumens - 8,600
    IPT Lumens - 1700

    3. Have a meeting this afternoon to discuss what's planned for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. I'll post up shortly after
