I have your amber squad sports combo flood/ spot in my fogs and absolutely love them. Want to replace my ditch lights with Amber sports also. Do you recommend spots flood or combo?

Is there anything you feel your setup is lacking? Spot will provide the least amount of hood glare and will be great for distance. If you want more near field /comfort lighting you can run the Wide Cornering pattern and aim the lights out towards the shoulder. I wouldn't recommend Driving/Combo due to the added hood glare.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using these primariarly for deer and critters when driving on country roads coming from ditches and woods. Not sure I understand comfort lighting? I have retro heads and some additional lighting on the bumper. Sounds like spots would be my best bet?

    Thanks

Wide Cornering will be best for lighting up the shoulders of the road and the near field area. This is good for detecting animals and other obstructions that might enter the roadway.

Spot will be ideal for distance, but is a tighter beam and won't reach the sides of the road. This is great for detecting animals or obstructions that might already be in the roadway, but at a distance.

Driving/Combo is a blend of the two above. You get more distance as well as near and midfield lighting. Here is a quick pattern comparison between Spot and Driving/Combo. Unfortunately I don't have the same for Wide Cornering

What is the distance expectation for the wide cornering?
    Thanks!

Distance will vary depending on aim and location, but you should expect at least 100-200 feet. ^^ In the Driving/Combo photo you can see the wide cornering optics hitting the 100' mark and pushing past 200'. Running a full Wide Cornering pattern (not 50/50) will result in more light than whats shown

Is it possible to buy just the tundra fog light wiring harness? All I see on the site is the brackets and wiring harness for like $130. I see the Ford wiring-only harness for like $14.[IMG]

We don't typically sell them separately, but can for customers that already own our lights.

Call us at 800-422-5292 or email orders@bajadesigns.com to start an order. Happy to help!

What brackets did you use to mount the arc OnX6 behind the grill?

Caliraised LED behind the grill, but it doesnt work for top mount. Either need to space it out or move the auto unlock for hood. The Onx6 bar is too thick.

I only planned to use the bottom portion since I’ll be installing an s8 in the hood bulge using mounts from SDHQ

Should be good to go then. An s8 should fit in the top portion anyways, doesn't stick out as far in the back.
