Need some opinions from the Tundras.com crew. Going to be adding a few more lights using an Nfab light bar from @ToyTec Lifts , but I'm having problems deciding which route to go:

    Option A)
    OnX6 30" Hi-Power
    Nfab Multi-Mount system

    Option B)
    QTY: 4 LP9s
Nfab Light Bar w/ 4 tabs

A will be a little bit cleaner while B will have more output and a more aggressive look.

    hmmm

Really love the amber back lit pods. Also you have the option to point in different direction for more light spread.

How does that NFab light bar bolt to the truck?

It bolts to the frame horns with a bracket that slides through the OEM bumper openings. Attached are the instructions

Option B. All the lumens! Are you going to take them off when not in use? I like the light bar idea but would be worried someone is going to walk off with my fancy lights

I've been researching some security hardware options. It will take some work to remove the lights :)

Except most thieves just use a cordless cutoff wheel and cut the brackets - at least that is how my buddies got lifted. Sucks we have to worry about things like that

I've been thinking about buying an extra 'female' end to whatever light(s) I get and mounting it somewhere out of the way under the hood. Remove the lights when not in use and plug the harness into the receptacle under the hood. Losing $$$ lights would not be my idea of fun.

Thankfully I live in a good neighborhood where the crime rate is very low. Very slim chance of someone walking into the garage with power tools and going to town. Only concern is when I'm not parked at home or visiting a not-so-nice area. Not going to worry too much until I actually get the lights.

Option B from your 2 options.
Can you fit 3 of the new laser light bars in the bumper? Or 2 of them with some pros?

If I was to do anything Laser I'd add XL Laser Lights to ditch brackets. I need some near and mid field lighting first before going to Long Range.

This truck wouldn't really need the distance (for my use) but it would be cool!

    @Baja Designs

I'm looking at purchasing the small pro flush mounts for my rear bumper. My question is, can I tie them directly to my backup lights or do they need a separate power supply and relay?

For the S2 Pro, Flush Mount it's not required to have a relay since the power draw is 24W/1.70A (3.4A for the Pair). If you splice into the reverse light wires at the taillight we'd recommend a 5amp inline fuse to be safe. If for some reason the load is too much or a short occurs the fuse will keep your system protected.

Thx for the quick reply. Hitting the order button now:)

I'm doing raptor liner on my bumpers this weekend, do you have the dimensions for the cut outs? I'd like to cut the holes before I apply the liner.

Btw, I have the fog replacements and am totally impressed with the output. I'm looking forward to the reverse light upgrade. The s8 hood light will be next in the pipe.

    Thx!

Attached are the dimensions for the bezel and housing. The light housing itself measures just shy of 3"x2" and that will be the size you'll need to cutout.

Glad you're enjoying the fogs! Let us know if you need anything else.

A small gap like shown is normal. One some vehicles it's a little bit smaller but not by much.

Just constantly thinking of ways to take our money aren't you? ;)

I like how those are mounted. Is there a backing plate too or is it just washers and nuts?
