So I installed some BD SAE fogs that I picked up off this forum along with an OEM switch and relay. After putting everything together I cannot get them to come on. I replaced the fuse in the engine bay and have hardwired them to the factory harness (not yet solder in).

    Any suggestions?

I would jump them to the battery with the fuse in place to make sure they come on. If they do you know it's wiring

to just simply test the light, take your positive (red) and your negative (black) wires that come off of the BD lights and hold them onto the battery with the correlated terminals (positive and negative). If the light works, it'll come on, you don't need to hold it long, just see if it comes on.

Silly question, but are the lights properly grounded?

Is there an additional ground needed? I have just hooked up the light wires to the factory harness.

The wiring harness for the lights will have a black wire coming out of it too. That's hooked up? You may may need to put a ring terminal on it.. That wire will need to be fastened to a metal piece of the body, preferably in the engine bay.

theres a ground right next to the battery in the engine bay, you can ground it there if you haven't already grounded it somewhere else (like the battery)

I installed a Toyota factory light stalk with a fog light switch to replace my stalk without one and a relay in the factory fuse box location.

and you had the factory wiring run down to where the OEM fog lights would be? (meaning your truck already had the factory wiring too or did you add it yourself?)

I called BDs customer support and the service rep told me all I need to do is connect the two light wires to the two harness wires. Is this incorrect?

yes that is correct, however you could have the wires connected backwards, did you check polarity (positive and negative) of the wires before adding the lights?

I tried all possible combinations of wiring just to check and no luck. Right now I have white to white.

Ok double check the lights work by touching the wires coming out of the BD lights straight to your battery (check my above post)

A picture of how you hardwired them in would be helpful.
Are you turning on the headlights as well? Just checking....

The rep I spoke with told me on the lights white is power and black is ground. So I hooked up white to positive according to the markings on the connectors I removed (also the white wire).

    Here’s a few pics:

Now I'm thinking check the wires that are supposed to be powering the lights. Do you have a test light or a multi meter?

    Too many, but not enough....
All you have to do is plug in the light to the factory harness directly, you dont need a relay. Amazon has little harnesses that connect to your lights to the factory harness connector. I did this with my rigids.
