Got your PM. Give me a buzz and we can chat

I carry both BD and DD so I'll get you set up with exactly what you need as bias-free as I can be. :)
Hint: They're both excellent, but just excel at different things.

Does the baja squadrons have a harness that is plug and play with the Tundra fogs?

If you get a Tundra "Fog kit" they will come with the plug-and-play adapters. If you are putting squadrons on an aftermarket bumper for example and don't need the rest of the bracketry the adapters can be purchased from BD directly, or you can find an H11-Weatherpack adapter (2-pin) online without too much trouble.

I called BD today asking the same question. They said they may change the lens but the internals are not changing. There also not offering an exchange if they do come out with a new design.

Really? They've indicated elsewhere that they'd do a free replacement, but I don't want to speculate anymore... Guess we'll just have to see what they do when it comes. Best intel I have on the revised SAEs is anticipated release late Q1/Early Q2. Trying to get my hands on a set early to do some testing!

    Lots of shenanigans.
Check out post #23 as well as this was a PM between BD and I.

@Baja Designs could you please clarify what your company's exchange intent will be with the new SAE Fogs?

I have the Bajas non SAE amber in my fogs now. With my truck lifted 2" in front on 35s I feel like I'm blinding everyone. I love them but I don't want to blind people. How bad are the SAE? I'm still in my 30day satisfaction period. Should I exchange them for the SAE?

I'd be careful running non SAE on roads. I'll be installing mine soon and can let you know in a week or two.

Moved my Baja Squadron sport from fogs to ditch and added Baja Squadron SAE for fogs. There is a big difference on light output between the two. At least I won't be blinding oncoming traffic...

Ditch light bracket are Rago Low Profile. Love them.

Tundra looks great! So the SAE is significantly dimmer than the sports?

In my opinion yes, so much so that I removed the black covers on the lens but keep the sae lens. Brighter and does not blind on coming drivers like my sports did.

I believe BD had to add that black piece to their SAE lights to meet max allowable up lighting. Without it installed the light is technically not SAE compliant.

You are correct. They also have projection cones in them to help with beam. This is probally why its still not blinding everyone. Unless the cop knows his lights, the SAE stamp on lens should save me from a ticket hahahaha

My inspection station knows BD SAE lights very well and will not pass them for inspection. Was told by SP that they were not truly SAE and to reject them. Had to take mine off and I replaced with the DD SAE which he did pass.
