Does DD not have a lifetime warranty?

Not terrible, their Stage Series products have up to 8 years of warranty, but I mean, if BD offers a true lifetime, then you can't really beat that... and I'd say that might be worth the extra money

I do wish DD had the number of lumens on their website, I think I'll send an email tomorrow and see if they can tell me the lumens on the respective lights

Yeah, I'm not brand loyal either. Just trying to find the best bang for my buck. I use the fogs religiously, so I'm being more picky than normal about the fogs.

I’ve had to use the BD warranty, and let me tell you, they make it painless. Great service and product support good a long way with me.

Yeah, I've seen YouTube videos of people who used them and they are a no questions asked company.

Understandably so, the problem with running the BD Squadron Sport with Wide Cornering or whatever is that they're bright, and the beam isn't angled with the intention of other drivers eyes, for your use case, it might be worth buying the old SAE fogs with the hope that the new ones are far superior (which I would hope they would be), or just wait for the new ones to come out.

Hmmmm, that kinda leans me towards BD, but still the price difference between BD and DD is pretty large...

Yeah, I am in the same boat. Fortunately, the bumper won't be ready until March so it gives me some time to do more research before I pull the trigger.

Hmmm, I might honestly just wait till they come out with the new ones, because that is really tempting to be honest

If you aren't in a rush then I would wait as well. Who knows, DD might come out with another competitive product that could outshine BD. No pun intented.

Yeah hopefully thats plenty of time, I'm just about to be done with welding up the custom front bumper I've been making, but I'll still need to paint and do other small things, so I'll probably just hold off as well, I think whatever company I go with for fogs, I'll also get ditches and chase for

Do you have pics of the bumper or a thread on it?

I honestly went the cheap route and got some caliraisedled ditch lights. Seem to work just fine for my purpose.

Email Rago directly or hit up @memario1214 for pricing. Between the two you should be able to shave a bit off the MSRP and tone down the sticker shock.

This is pretty much it so far, fits all Gen 2 Tundras, in this photo its still missing the steel tubing and skid plate, that'll happen tomorrow... The design is mimicked from @fish_built (on instagram). Supports a Smittybilt Gen2 XRC 9500lb winch, and if I drop the winch plate a little bit, it could probably fit something bigger...

My ditch light brackets are from CBI Offroad Fab, so I didn't really get lights when I got them, just some cheap Chinese made ones on Amazon that broke

Looks sick man! How much do you think that bad boy is gonna weigh? Yeah, maybe look into Caliraised for some cheap ditch lights. Then again, DD and BD offer pretty budget-friendly ones as well.

Thank you! The bumper I had on the Tundra before was a Ranch Hand that was probably around 200lbs+ and it stuck out super far, so the center of gravity was terrible, currently even with the winch on the bumper I can lift it decently easily, so its probably sitting around 100lbs~, I assume fully loaded with cable and a skid plate anywhere from 150lbs-200lbs, but it'll be a light closer to the truck and frame so that'll help, I'll have to step on a scale tomorrow to tell you

Nice! You should consider making your bumper progress on another thread! I think others would appreciate it as well. Looking forward to the end product!

Yeah I plan on it! I've taken pictures pretty much every day of the build, and I'll do a price breakdown cause its honestly pretty cheap, I think just steel and paint itself I'll only have spent around $250, not counting the winch or rope
