3” lift, black step bars, aftermarket wheels, LT305/55R20 was this way when I brought it.
my tail gate was changed out with a good one, my other one was smashed but the backup camera was working fine and the grid was there. But when they changed out the tailgate, I told them to change the handle because of the key so it would match my keys. (by chance is the grid on the camera lens). it still works great just no grid.

This happened on my wife's new Subi... I found a video online that showed how to enter the "tech" menu of electronics system from the head unit controls. I couple of menus later, I found drop down for rear cam which gave options for no lines, lines w/turn compensation and just straight lines.

I believe most of these types of "settings" are "tech" accessible in the Toyotas; meaning dealership tech has to plug a laptop into the ECU and adjust those settings, but it wouldn't hurt to look around and see if anyone else figured it out online.

If not, just set up an appt w/a Toyota Tech and they should be able to make that adjustment real quick.

    Good luck!
