Backup Camera “Issue” - OCD Triggered

Off center? They all are. The camera isn’t mounted in the middle of the tailgate.

 

Mine seems crooked. I dont really use it except to see how close I am once I’m done backing.

Edit: NM. I see what you are talking about. Probably no way to fix it.

 

Small, trivial annoyance. But the OCD, I too have it and am learning patience...

 

What you’re looking at here is the purchase of the redesigned Tundra when it pops. Sorry, it’s the only fix.

 

I have an aftermarket HU so it’s not the same. My guess is a software update to the HU would probably fix this.

 

Mine doesn't do that sh!t. Neither does my front cam.

 

Mine is perfect..
I have an aftermarket HU, but the camera retains the OEM guide lines.
I have the Kenwood guide lines turned off...

 

My rear camera is usually so dirty I can't see a damn thing out of it anyway, so rarely bother! The front camera stays nice and clean though...

 

Maybe it’s the pic, but yours looks a little off like what the OP was talking about.

 

I'm jealous of you guys with front cams. That would be really handy offroading

 

I guess it is.
I only look at it for about 5 to 7 seconds at a time, if at all.
I usually use only my mirrors.
Don't to much driving in reverse for extended periods long enough to find such a minor issue..

 

Yea front cameras are a must when you got a 6" lift and want to do some front end parking too. I can see up close to about a foot away from my front bumper.

 

I use my front camera EVERY DAY when I park. And I do use the rear camera quite a bit too...but it does get dirty fast. I actually cleaned it off today.

Just gonna pretend I never saw this thread.

 

It's definitely a software issue. Not sure how to go about fixing it unless you can get the mfr to do something.

 

All I saw was the ice. And, I'm not a hockey player.
