Cavalry Blue and Barcelona Red were my top picks for the 4Runner. I really really wanted the Cav Blue, but it is only available on the 2018 TRD Pro, and the TRD Off Road with KDSS is a better set up, so I went Tundra. Wasn't a ton more expensive, and I dearly love the V8.

They opened most of the state parks in my state on Friday. We took precautions and purchased our pass online before going so that we wouldn't have to come in contact with the rangers at the booth - just showed them the pass and they waved us through the line. There is a place we like to go here but it was pretty packed with people, so we parked alone and ate our picnic lunch in the back of the Tundra. Caught my daughter in a quick shot before she was able to run away - usually she loves having her picture taken but not today!

That second picture looks really cool with the contrast between the hill and mountains.

I just ordered Fox 2.5 with resis and DSC adjuster front shocks. $1507 shipped on a sale.

Sale ends today and I don't want to share vendor information until I get them and confirm that they're good. He told me after this sale that the prices will go to $1743 shipped, which is the best price I know of when they're not on some crazy sale.

    These shocks: https://www.ridefox.com/product.php...Toyota&model=Tundra+&year=2018&position=Front

I'll post his info for anyone interested after I get the parts and confirm that everything is good.

What is your current lift setup and why the change? Definitely looks good.

Currently running FBG adjustable coilovers built around Bilstein 5100s.

The only reason for the change is that I'm moving to a top-tier suspension setup - it's actually what I wanted in the first place but with a new vehicle purchase, wheels, tires, suspension, lift, etc.. I was spending $5500 off the bat anyway. I don't know the next time you can get these Fox DSC coilovers for $1500, if ever, so I figured I'd jump on it.

Fox 2.5 with DSC adjusters are installed... they feel amazing both at max and minimum compression for slow speed. Still don't have a lot of miles on them and just starting to get a feel for the slow speed adjustments.

I believe it's a 700lb spring rate. Fox doesn't advertise this information but I have found several accounts of people calling Fox and getting this info.

I’m using 700 lb Kings front coils with maxed out B6112 on Tacoma and the ride is not so great lol ;):D:eek: harsh is the correct word without any armor weights up front. I bet your lift height is not at maximum settings with the current fox suspension?

It's lifted almost 4" right now and rides like a dream. I expect it to settle .25 - .5"

I'm in the process of installing the same Fox system. How do you go about determining the "max" adjustment? They came out of the box with about an inch of thread above the top ring, but it looks like there is a lot of thread below for raising it up.

These two articles helped me alot.

    https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/how-fox-dsc-dual-speed-compression-adjusters-work/

    https://accutuneoffroad.com/should-i-get-dsc-adjusters-on-my-fox-shocks/

The second article has a section entitled "Making Adjustments to Your Fox DSC Adjuster"

These guys explain it far better than I could. Hope you enjoy them!

After a week or so on the truck now how is the Fox setup working out/feeling? I am sooooo tempted to pull the trigger on this setup.

I've kind of figured out where I like the adjustments for street driving.

Its worlds apart from stock, in a good way. Its an improvement over the 2.0 shocks I was running before.

I would say do it now while its cheap. When they're $1850 everywhere again you'll regret not buying now!

The build looks fantastic, love it. With the extra lift, did you have any problems with the TSS system throwing errors? Did you have to re-calibrate somehow?

    Thanks!

No problems at all - I've heard of others having to do a zero-point calibration but I've never had to.

Ordered raw steel V2 sliders from Relations Race Wheels on May 26 (5.26.2020).

    https://www.relationsracewheels.com...yota-tundra-bolt-on-v2-rock-sliders-short-bed

I'm a little disappointed because they were supposed to be in stock and ship within 7-10 days, but there have been several delays. That said, RRW is now going to powder coat them for free before sending them out. They say they should ship this week or next.

Quick spray off at the carwash. No dry. Mother's Caranauba Wax holds up well.

Thanks for the thread. Truck looks awesome.
Ive been trading emails with AccuTune. Trying to decide what I want to put on. Leaning towards the Fox 2.5;s. If I decide to go cheaper, thinking of Bilstein 6112 upfront with 5160 reservoir in back.

Either way I'm sure you'll love the result.

I may be able to get you a pretty good deal on the Fox fronts if you go that route. Let me know and I'll check for you.
