    Hello All,
Hoping I take delivery of my new 2021 MGM Limited Crewmax this Thursday. I have always been in a Toyota, except for this last year. Early 2020 I traded in my beloved 2015 MGM Tundra for a 2019 RAM 2500 diesel......mistake. Back to Toyota for me, I cannot wait.

Can I be nosy and ask what precipitated the move to the Ram, and the return?

Sure. I thought I needed a big bad diesel and I fell for the look and all the gadgets in my Ram. When it had recalls rode like crap, clunked and rattled all the time. It felt like I was riding in a covered wagon on dirt roads. I am guessing the only categories where it beats the Tundra is towing and MPG, but that means sacrificing reliability. I loved my 2015, and have missed it since I let it go. MPG doesnt mean a thing to me if I know I am driving one of the most reliable trucks on the road.

Did the recalls fix the issues or were they recurring?

It is very tempting, the Rams are very nice.

I purchased the vehicle not knowing about a Stop Sale that was put in place due to a faulty transmission gasket. That was replaced and all was fine. The clunking and rattling, normal per the dealer.....You can seach "Cab mount clunk" and find tons of folks with this problem being blown off by the dealers. Also, search "CP4 fuel pump" as well as all the transmission issues reported. Beautiful truck, but to me it is all lipstick on a pig. Lesson learned.

Welcome back, I joined the Tundra crew about 6 months ago, after graduation. Had a Camry in college and loved the reliability of Toyota so a Tundra was a no brainer. Everyone I've known with a Dodge has had the same cab clunk all around awful ride even on stock tires, and their doors always seemed to squeak and pop when opening and closing. They're super pretty driving off the lot but I don't think I'll ever leave Tundras.

I appreciate hearing other's horror stories when they leave the flock, as it curbs my want to venture off the Toyota path.

    Gotcha...

I just wanted to be back in a Tundra, where I had confidence knowing my vehicle would not fail.
