Back fire noise

    Had two popping noise sounded like it came from under truck. 2014 sr5 with 5.7 with tow package has about 31000 miles on it

    What kind of fuel are you running? 87 octane right? Did it sound like a backfire or something like a suspension pop?

    Window tint
    When I hot rod mine in manual shift mode I get a nice deceleration cackle from my TRD exhaust.....could that be what you are hearing?

    Mine did that one day right after I installed the K&N air filter, but never again. Figured it was the computer figuring out the proper timing with the new filter.
