You could do the back way on reddington rd and enter thru San Manuel and then come down thru town. Or do the backside of MT Lemmon, but I’m pretty sure the road won’t be open all the way to the top.
    Or even the dragoons

Madera Canyon is really nice and not too far from where you’ll be. Can’t go wrong with Mt Lemmon as well.

if you want to be on the desert floor, there is tons of space for desert running off Willow Springs Road near Biospehere 2. Could even bring the bike.

What are you looking for exactly? Plug and play? Loud and clear. etc.
I am firmly in the camp that a digital signal processor (dsp) is as necessary as good speakers in a vehicle. But I also think that anything worth doing is worth overdoing...If that is your kind of thing: diymobileaudio.com
Otherwise, vendors such as the one above or crutchfield are great.

Does anyone have experience with ToyoMotors Auto Care, in North Phoenix.

I'm looking for a reputable shop, not a dealership, to replace my starter.

If not ToyoMotors, are there any other recommendations?

    Thanks.

So, what's the grand total of AZ weidos/idiots/drunks going to T2S and which camping area are you setting up in, Vegas in the woods, may or not party, or I'm here for nature?

I’ll be at the “may or may not” camp for sleeping, but probably hanging out at the Vegas camps until I’m too drunk to walk home

I'm looking for something that's plug an play and am prioritizing quality of the sound over loudness. I'm currently looking at doing Hertz speakers and the SoundSolutionsAudio sub box for my JL W3v3. The down side is that the box doesn't quite meet the dimensions, but with some polyfill it should do fine.

For plug and play, Crutchfield is key. They will provide good over the phone support and you can see what will fit your vehicle easily on the site.

Anyone find a constant 12V at all times inside the truck? I have a 2018 and want to run power for USB sockets. Been searching today but have not found anything. A lot of things that seemed like it was going that way but no delivery.

Yep, I installed a new dashcam over the weekend and needed constant power for the parking mode. You can use a DMM to find an open fuse slot pretty easily and use an add a fuse.

Empty one below dome light, top one in the pic.. Took a minute, some of the circuits I assumed would stay hot timed out.

Ordered a new fuse box cover that fits with fuse taps from Etsy also.

Random venting thoughts here, maybe they'll help someone in the future.

I've been chasing the elusive 4wd actuator issue in my '07 for a year or more. It won't consistently engage 4WD but always will eventually go in, then throws a VSC code until restarted. Chased it to a P1340 code, "center diff lock" which is usually the ADD actuator. Had Zuk install an Eaton up front for me and threw a new Aisin ADD actuator in it, should fix it right? Nope, or sometimes, 60% of the time? I also found a super old TSB showing early '07's should have an updated 4wd computer installed with "improved function timing" Mine had the very old computer, so I picked up a used one off Ebay. No change, functions just like before.

Pulled wiring diagrams out, started chasing pins with the DMM, and checking continuity. Looks like it's back to the transfer case actuator not throwing 2 "proof" signals correctly. The actuator will cycle, but not trip the 4wd switch and also the TL-1 reliably, time to pull it apart again and clean the right way with Deoxit and relube with Krytox. I'll try that next week. If I wasn't planning a Sequoia AWD/4WD transfer case swap in the next year I'd buck up for a new Aisin transfer actuator...may still have to.

    That's all...
