Do you guys usually set up camp at t2s and leave stuff set up the whole time or break camp every time you leave? Trying to decide whether to leave my rtt on the truck or bring my little overlander trailer setup.

 

It’s all pretty safe at camp, lots of people stay during the day, so someone is usually watching/around

 

I prefer the ultra luxury route of attending via Skype.

I have a shit load of vacation to take before April 22nd but the wife has to work. We are going to Pagosa Springs, CO April 9th and coming back the 24th

 

Finally got his in temporarily until I can get the right thickness material to make it better but the Switch Pro swap from 9100 to RCR Force 12 is completed. I just added the lights on the outside of the bumper (6 amber) a while back but drilling holes and wiring with one arm was not easy. The switch pro took longer while I tried to figure what the hell I was gonna do to install it where it was

 

Anybody want to run some of those east valley trails friday afternoon?

 

what time and what trails were you thinking?

 

I have to be in phx for something in the morning, but I could be over to the cottonwood canyon trailhead by 1230 or so. I'm not real familiar with the trails in that area other than seeing what you guys have posted here before. Box canyon looks fun. Not sure what the other options are.

 

You returning to Flag the same evening?

 

Have you ever done Log Corral or Sunflower?

 

Was planning to, but I don't have to.

 

Those trails I mentioned to Jason are on my to do list but after last year’s monsoon season I imagine they are nasty. Probably an all day deal if they are passable.

There is some easy stuff around where I’m at (Four Peaks, FS roads around Apache Lake, etc) but I’m planning to be in front of the TV by 5 for the U of A game.

 

The sunflower mine trail is different every time I go. Once I was able to get a geo prism to the trommel, the next time the tundra didnt have a chance

I have not done advanced crawling like this in my Tundra yet

Anybody done bulldog canyon trail? any good? One of my coworkers recommended it.

 

Just a few times… it’s a pretty good one and one of my go-tos. A few of us are planning on hitting it tomorrow.

 

You need a permit, though. It’s like $5 or 6 and all online. I’ll try to find the link if you’re interested.

 

I've got it already, thanks. I'm trying to figure out something to do April 1-4. Might try and do some phoenix stuff, might go check out KofA Wilderness. Just my girlfriend and I at the moment but would be cool to meet up with some other people.
