Man I wish I could! Wife and I are doing Valentines that Saturday. As much as she does enjoy being out on the trail from time to time, I don't think this particular weekend would work. I'll keep an eye out for the next meet up though

Sounds like it’s only me, @Vizsla and @BiggHertz able to make this trip, so we can either switch venues or treat this as a scouting trip. Dave, I’ve already talked to Jason so we’re up for whatever you want to do.

I’m good with doing this same run, just as a scouting trip. We probably won’t stop as much with just the 3 of us, but should be a good trail.

Anyone know a good place to get a cab mount chop done in the west valley? Or anyone willing to take the job? I already have the plates purchased from SDHQ, just need them cut and welded in.

@Vizsla, @BiggHertz and I farted around in this area today - really cool spot with a lot of offshoot trails and varying difficulty, but that water crossing I had planned isn’t going to happen. The north shore of the river is too washed out in the main spot and is basically vertical, and the other exit point is rutted to hell and would need some serious clearance to work. The good news is I learned a decent amount about the lay of the area, so we could definitely burn a day there that would be fun for the kids and adults. Hoping we can put something on the books as soon as Jason gets his shit fixed…

Not gonna lie - it stung when I saw it on IG. Hopefully you had a trail beer after that BS. What sliders are you looking at?

oh it stung indeed. on the fence of SDHQ, WKOR or the Wescott Design. really leaning towards the WKOR with .188 wall thickness for the front wheel well to rear wheel well protection. :benchpress:

This genuinely was a freak incident, and I really hope that somebody didn't place this railroad tie with malicious intent.

And yes, Dave and Jake both had trail beers in my truck's honor :drunk:

Bit out of my price range at the moment. Just sent another chuck of money to the collision center that has held my truck captive for the past 4 months. I am still working on getting those tires through. If the steps end up wrapped inside the tires when I pick them up I wouldn't complain..

For tires you're 2 of 6 in line =) And for the steps, price is negotiable ;)

Hit em with air craft remover, blast em and hit them with steel-it, if you need texture on top, lay down some bed liner on top of the rails :)
