You might be better off buying the Innova 5310 OBD2 scanner which should clear the code. I have the cheaper one (5210) which unfortunately does not do the airbag codes. The 5310 is only $139 at O'Reillys. Here's a picture from the back of the box showing which models handle which tasks.

HA! I just got a written warning this morning from Gila River PD (rez) for trespassing. I took my son to check out an airplane boneyard in Chandler, just west of Intel. He was sitting under the wing between two planes.

That’s what I was worried about last time I went out there, haha. At least it was a warning.

Yep. I'm glad I got to see the place and take some pix, without getting kicked out, back in April. Now I'm in their system. He said if I'm stopped there again, they will probably impound my vehicle and cite me. Fair enough, I'm out.

Can you grab some pics of what you did here? I’m trying to decide what to do with mine, one tab out of the 8 got flattened last time I went out and I really, really don’t feel like taking apart both LCAs to replace with the gusseted cam tab kit from Total Chaos. Can I just weld some square bar stock behind the OEM tabs and call it a day, or did you do more than that?

I also have 72 rounds of .223 ammo (12 of American Eagle 55 grain FMJ, 60 of Winchester 45 grain hollow point) and 372 rounds of .22 (Federal 40 grain).

I think the .223 is worth about $70 and the .22 is worth about $35.

We did the Total Chaos kit. Had SDHQ do the install because I don’t do welding or home plumbing.

I’ve seen a couple people bend a flattened tab back into place and then lay a bead behind it for support. Then do the same for all of them. I don’t know if that’s more or less effort than the TC gussets though.

I also added these Bison Off Road cam plates a month or two ago (or maybe six or seven, time is weird these days). I beat the crap out of them and they held the alignment perfectly.

If you have adjustable uppers and you’re flattening cab tabs, you might just go for the TC tabs and these cam plates all at one time and be done.

Anyone out there looking for a cheap car for their teenager or a spare vehicle? It's not a Toyota, but a 1998 Mercury Tracer (same as the Ford Escort). Been in the family for the past 20 years. My grandma owned it from 2001 - 2013, then I got it from her when she was too old to drive anymore. I've owned it since 2013 as a spare vehicle aside from my daughter driving it for about 2 years while in school.

Very basic car. 4cyl, automatic, 103K miles, manual windows and locks. It does have some faded paint/clearcoat issues on the bumpers and hood, but many new parts recently (last 10K miles or so) including: new windshield, new tires, radiator and hoses, front/rear struts, front/rear brakes, motor mounts and 1 year old battery. Emissions were just renewed in June and good for 2 years. Alpine CD player, new floor mats, no rips or tears in seats, non-smoker. The bad: It needs new windshield wipers and the drivers side cv boot is torn. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thank you, picked some up at O’Reilly’s since it was just down the road. Yeah I’m far from Phoenix. I’m over by the US 60 and Gilbert. Good to know there’s a dedicated detailing store, not just Amazon.

There is a detail garage off of (don’t quote me on this) Broadway (I think) and the 101.

You must live close to me. I’m off Broadway and Gilbert haha.

Maybe by next week, been a 2 month build/wait, expected delivery is tomorrow actually but they didn’t do the bed liner at port, so dealer add on for 2-3 days more.

Ended up with a 21 pro, in Lunar Rock.

Figured maybe with the pro I wouldn’t do as much to it in the first year as I did the Taco hah. It’s got some plans but nothing major for awhile.

I’ve always wondered if that’s good logic. But I know myself haha.

I give it 6 months before it’s got coil overs, uppers, wheels and tires and rear shocks lol.

Hah, we will see hopefully the fox setup isn’t shit and you become right sooner then later. Maybe a shim/shackle could be foreseeable though, bigger tires as the stock size is going to hurt my heart, then maybe after some mileage and a kidney sale or two I’m wanting a supercharger this time around, then go from there, so you know nothing crazy.

@Rextinkleton93 Looks like another week + for delivery, expected changed from today to 9/29 and still have to wait for bed liner for another 2-3 days wait. I’m an instant gratification kind of guy lol, so these months are killing me.

Why is it going to take them so long to get the bedliner done? See if they’ll just give you the cash to get it done third party. There are a few good options on the east side that’ll get you done same day if you give them a heads up.
