My elderly parents moved from Westwood to Prescott in 2016. They forgot they needed medical support and have found the need to come to Phoenix (and stay at my "hotel" more times than I can count.

Do yourself a favor, look into anything that is important to you before moving there. (The weather is nice and they have a great house, FWIW).

Have you cross posted this to the Arizona Tundras group on FB? I think that’s why this thread is pretty mellow. It seems most of the Arizona tundra folks are on the book of faces. Would be cool to have them here a bit instead since it have a basic hatred of Facebook for no good reason.

Good. Ryan needs another full size truck to hangout with. We went out to the desert solo last weekend so he could get some speed in. The Kings make it float, so nice.

Hell yeah! I have a feeling I’ll be picking his brain about linked and coiled rear ends in a couple years. Not yours. I doubt you have Rasta dreads on your butt.

I have slightly less than 40ac north of Saint Johns. Off grid, well maintained gravel/dirt roads with a community well but you can dig your own, whole area on top of aquefer...

I'd say those two are a little closer to the 2 hour mark to the Phoenix metro area... I have some friends that have a place a little north of Payson that's pretty cool. There are a few "towns" along the way that you might be able to find land like you're wanting.

I want to keep it north of pheonix.

If I ever hit the lottery, I'm buying a summer home in Show Low/Pinetop. I've lived my entire life in Tucson and like it OK, but getting sick of the summers.

I've got a good friend that just moved to that area a few months ago. Their house has a bit of land with an RV hook up, so the wife and I may drag our travel trailer up and hang for a week or so, check it out. It's been a few years since I've been up there.

I'm sure there are, but don't know for sure. Don't hate me, but my Tundra is a 2wd (no laughing). It's the 1st non 4x4 i've had since 1988. Just getting old and don't off-road anymore, hence the travel trail now instead of tent camping.
