was directing that to @Mike lol
nice pics though, been to CO twice and did the main trails everyone does, black bear, Imogene, ophir, and engineer pass. That was probably 5 years ago or so, here in Houston you have to drive 4+ hours to find a park

You might find this amusing, at least I did. I was on page 2 of this thread catching up and looking at where you wheeled. When you said you have been to CO to off-road, I thought to myself "this guy has probably been to Ouray and is going to say the common tourist trails." Come to page 3...boom. LMFAO. I remember the first time I went down there. We stopped out in Del Nort in the rock quarry and I rolled my junk. I still wanted to do the trails in Ouray, CO and all the scenic stuff, so I took the tow rig..Lollers! I was concerned until I seen a Subaru on the same trails.
That is a beautiful area isn't it?

You need to make another trip out here. It's crazy but I come the occasional Outback/Forester in some places you don't expect it. I thought I heard an ATV coming up to my camp a couple years ago. It was an Outback that had lost its muffler. The driver had his music turned up and had a bottle of beer in one hand. He was totally clueless.

Oh I thought it was funny Texans love Ouray. I wasn't belittling you, more so asking how you liked the area since you were coming from TX and the ease of the trails down there.

    We do totally different off-roading.
