During the pre-sale and only during the pre-sale we will have the option to place a deposit on ALL the other products we will carry for the new Tundra! This includes Door Handles and Window Trim! The deposit will likely be $5 per additional item, which will be deducted from your purchase price when the respective products are released.

So if you want to guarantee you get those items before they sell out, you'll definitely want to take advantage of that. Placing a deposit basically guarantees you'll have one reserved for you to ship out on release day.

 

Is the presale still expected to happen? Will there be actual photos of the bumper covers installed at presale?

 

Yes, we're still doing the pre-sale! I'm just waiting for Grant to give me the information I need to push it forward. You will all get an email (if you signed up) when the pre-sale goes live. It should be this week. I'm hoping for tomorrow. I keep bugging him. Twice a day, every day for the last week and a half. He's just been busy because we're a little short-handed, good help is hard to find, but we ARE hiring. Heck, I was boxing up products yesterday, and I'm supposed to be the community engagement/website guy!

I'll also post on the forums again when the pre-sale is live.

As for photos on an actual truck, we will not have those, I'm sorry. We will have plenty of photos closer to launch. But I can guarantee you, we will NOT send out these parts if they suck. We will refine and refine and refine until we feel they are the best they can be.

We've been on these forums long enough to know ya'll can make or break a product/company. Ya'll can be vicious... and I love you for it. Our highest priority is keeping you impressed and continuing to recommend our products to your friends, family, and other forum members. I'm truly sorry it has taken us so long to pre-sale these.

I want to amend an earlier post I made. We will NOT Have door handles available at Pre-Sale. We work closely with a company specializing in door handles, and we don't want to step on their toes. We hope they'll have handles soon so we can offer them. Their parts are pretty freaking high quality.

Unfortunately, we won't have anything like that for a couple more weeks. I can tell you these will sit FLUSH against the OEM bumper. They are designed to look OEM. People will think you spent $700-$1200, no one needs to know you only spent $400

Can you please specify which colors you are referring to as “Stock OEM” vs “Painted to Match” Aren’t they all stock OEM if a truck came in that color? I have Lunar Rock. Which one is that? Thanks

 

Attitude/Midnight Black, Ice Cap, and Magnetic Gray are the only "OEM Stock" colors. "Paint to Match" refers to us needing to paint them in-house. So Lunar Rock falls under the latter category and will be priced at $399.95

 

That and/or the piece just beneath it. I really would prefer the lower piece color matched, but know you have to pick something that's profitable.

 

We currently only have plans for the part highlighted. We consider the lower portion to be more of a valance and, unfortunately, unless the demand is HUGE we probably won't do it. Only time will tell.

The highlighted part will be available to pre-order with a $5 deposit on Wednesday.

@EC1, $400 is reasonable. I was quote $1300 from the body shop for a new painted mustache. They would not paint over chrome, which is understandable. Can you give me a rough idea on how much it would cost to ship to NY? Thanks

 

We thought so too! Sure, they aren't OEM parts, but they'll look just as good. And they're super easy to install!
From what I've seen, you won't need any special tools (Maybe some plastic trim tools). Though I'm not in the R&D department, so don't quote me on that one PLEASE!

As far as shipping price, I was told to use the same box we use for our 2.5 Gen Tundra Grille. That box is about 60 * 17* 11 (according to UPS standards )
That usually runs between $50-$75 to ship. For you, it would definitely be closer to $75 since it's traveling from CA to NY.

 

@T315 is correct. It falls under the PtM 3-Stage/Pearlescent category at $450. Technically, it's $449.95 but who's counting?
