We'd have to weigh it out. If we did bring it back, we would have to re-retire the TUN10 code, which isn't ideal. Tundra parts are expensive to ship (specifically the Mustache, foglamp bezel and the new tailgate applique). We don't get AMAZING shipping rates UPS, the price you see at check out on Chrome Stoppers is directly linked to our UPS account. Free shipping eats into our already razor-thin margins.

Yah, that makes complete sense. Assuming y'all can't go through pirateship.com? Also, why is shipping cheaper through Chrome Stoppers vs Ecoological?

On Ecoological, we aren't to connected our shipstation to the web host, and the web host does not allow for dimensional weight shipping calculations (which UPS uses exclusively). So, we're forced to sort of "guess" and average things out, that way someone across the country doesn't get the shipping price of someone down the street. Customer service usually adjusts the shipping price to the correct amount when necessary.

I got mines from Cali Raised LED. This is an awesome DIY and makes the car much nicer! Easy install with double sided tape. The fitment though, not 100% but closer to 95% IMO. Had it on the car for a few months now and no issues with it. Check out my video here: Chrome Delete Kit from BumperShellz for 2022+ Tundra - YouTube

Great video. Do you think the fitment issues have anything to do with some misalignment or margin errors with the Tundra's body?

That usually has everything to do with it. Like people, not all trucks are built the same, so certain areas could have imperfections. That's why we provide bits of blackout tape with some of our parts, because there are areas that are notorious for being a little off.

Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to do all that and show off our products. Your truck looks so much better now

OP said it right on the spot. Every car is made a little different as you can see on mines in the video, the fitment is not 100%. With the black out tape, it did fix a little. I wished there was a little more length to the black out tape but other than that no big deal. On the other hand, if you are OCD then you might have issues. From a distance, you cannot notice the difference. If you are literally inches away inspecting it then you'll see some left over Chrome/black tape if you put it there. Overall I am glad I got it and would totally recommend the product hands down.

I'm mostly concerned that I'll be able to see it over my hood or notice a lip, despite the rounded over edges. Thoughts?

That's the whole point of the rounded edges. The first iteration of the product did not have rounded edges and there was some debate on wether it mattered or not. But it made more sense both functionally(actually helps the part stay on better) and aesthetically

Yah, yah, and I think it’s a brilliant move. It’s what I do in woodworking to fool the eye. And, if I were to take a straight edge from the hood to the cover, it wouldn’t be flat. Correct? To be fair to your product, I think it is also brilliant, and I’m more particular than your average human.

Thanks for the compliment! I'll make sure our CEO hears it.

Completely flat? I don't know, there MAYBE a 1 to 2 degrees of difference if any? We make all our tools based off of both CAD data and actual vehicle parts. We want them to be as indistinguishable from OEM as we can possibly get them without sacrificing integrity or making the parts look and feel cheap (if we were gonna sell 10mil plastic parts, you might as well just vinyl wrap, right?). There's a few pics buried in this thread that shows it from the side close-up. There should be one with the new style.

You know, I could have resolved many of my concerns simply by finding out how thick the materials are - helps a ton. Thanks! I'll be ordering as soon as I get back in town.

    Thanks!

And I just realized that I broke it because we don't exactly want to pay a billion dollars to MailChimp to just collect people's information (they charge you MORE if you have x number of contacts over your allotted amount). DM me your email. I'll have to work on a solution that looks good and goes to a spreadsheet or something.

I'm trying to decide which grill surround to go with. Matte Black or color match. I have a Solar Octane TRD Off Road. Anyone got photos so that I can compare before placing an order?

Matte Black would look sick on that. I just ordered color matched for a magnetic gray platinum, but I think with your color the matte black will help break it up nicely.

Did you use the window trim overlay? I had preordered it but looked a little bulky. Happy with it?

Isn't yours already color matched? My pro, in solar octane, came from the factory the same color. I did replace the lower portion with their color matched one.

Hot damn the pro looks good in red and I don't typically like trucks in red. Is the suspension stock? Looks tall.

I was worried as well. It's obviously thicker now, but it became unnoticeable within a day because it fits so well. It won't be obvious unless parked next to another Tundra. Frankly, the design is better than OEM anyway, so I think you'll be happy. Nominal, but I'm hearing less road noise.
